might be nice to know which topics have been fix and which ones are not.

might be regulated by mod or OP

the general practice already in place seems to be for the OP to change the title to include "Fixed" (or some other indication that the problem has been solved). This is of course completely dependent on the OP, and many of the n00bs/uninformed don't bother. imo this would be too much work to ask the mods to handle. perhaps if it were made more clear that that was the expectation? <shrug>

Great suggestion OP! This would actually be a great idea because it would help right out to see which solution still needs help and which ones can be ignored right out. Though I dont know how hard it would be to place a coding such as this into the board and ONLY in tech support.

If it was possible though I would definitely be all for it. I think a lot more people would like and probably would actually follow the idea of easily placing a checkmark by something instead of writing "FIXED" or "SOLVED".

Or Change the font Color to GREEN if a check box could not be added.

Either way, add it to the Thread Tools and the OP could check it there perhaps, similar to adding a poll after the thread was created.

that still wouldn't change the problem of most OPs just disappearing after their problem is resolved. look at how many threads currently never get changed to "fixed".

It would make it simple as can be. I'll admit to not editing my title because I either forget, or I just feel too lazy to do it. But this way, it would take a second and you'd be set. I think more people would contribute to it.
