Hi,

I'm looking to buy iPad 2 Wi-Fi but I was wondering if there is jailbreak available for it ?
Jailbreakmatrix shows there are none for any version of IOS on ipad 2, but I can see some websites which say jailbreakme.com 3.0 can jailbreak it, although it doesn't say which IOS version(s) it do it for ?

Also, if anyone know what version of IOS does iPad 2 comes when shipped nowadays, is it IOS 5 out of the box or is it 4.3.x?

Jailbreakme 3.0 is the only jailbreak for iPad 2, and it only works on 4.3.3. Any iPad 2 you buy new will have 5.0 out of the box.

watch out for color bleed on ipad2 problems with lg screen if it hassamsung screen it will be ok

Is EEE transformer a good alternative to it or Galaxy tab a better one, if anyone can guide?

You can get a 16GB iPad for <$300, and it will be jailbreakable regardless of what firmware it has. If you won't miss the camera(s), I doubt you'd notice much difference in performance between it and the iPad 2.

The jailbreak for the 4S and iPad 2 on iOS5 will be released soon. I closely watch @iPhone_News on Twitter for updates.
