I have a Toshiba at home and it sucks.
I work at an IT firm, I deal with all sorts of laptops. Most of the companies I work with use Dell's for one reason or another.

At work I use a Sony.

I feel Fujitsu's are the best laptops ever made. Try one sometime.

Sony and Dell? That's a surprise.

Do you think there's a big quality difference between their low and high end? I'm aiming for a $400-$500 laptop, in case that makes a difference.

I've always had a Sony and finally won't pay for the laptop and got an HP. It's just as good for a 4th of the cost. :lmao:

I've bought Acer laptops and netbooks for the last several years, and never had a problem with any of them.

Sony

Can't comment on others as I never owned any other brands.

Disclaimer: At this point, Apple is way ahead of any other brand consideration for me.
