How about addressing the underlying problem of the simple fact that these people are considered employees of the state even though they don't do any work for it whatsoever. Fix that bit and the union won't be able to get any $$ from them!

I've heard of similar things like this story in the past, but, even if there didn't seem to be much if any upside to the unionizing, I didn't really think at the time that they could simply be union power grabs, because that would be evil.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Unions should be banned on a federal level. Once that is done, any speech advocating for unions to be re-legalized should be considered sedition and criminalized. The way I see it, advocating for unions is no different than inciting violence.

FDR was the Obama of the 40’s with his grab for power of the court. After his death it became obvious that term limits had to be implemented with the 22nd amendment.

I wish someone would come and try to defend this. I can't for the life of me figure out how it could be done, but it would sure be interesting to see it attempted.

Wondering if you might be right, I started searching and the first many reports on google were from very anti-union websites, so I figured they might not be the most objective. However, I did not see a single denial of the charge, which I would think would show up quickly when such a huge lie were being circulated about a large union that definately has the ability and the incentive to correct lies being told about them.
