This may be simple questions. Do you need to install vbulletin onto a server? Do you need to host your own site to be able to use vbullettin? or does a hosting company have that as an option that you can use?

I don't think there are any hosting companies that offer vBulletin as an option (many will offer the free alternatives though).

You would need to set vBulletin up yourself, either on your own server or on a paid host. You would also need to pay for your own vBulletin license. There are free alternatives, although they tend to be... not always great.

Thanks to the both of you! I have more questions but I don't wish to :threadj:. I'm a beginner and in interested in setting up a website with users/forums using vBulletin. I'll take that discussion to Tech Support.
