I just want to suggest that SD include an interface to be able to 'check' or 'uncheck' what categories you see in the hot deals section. For example, you could enable all the tech ones and disable apparel and beauty (or the other way around).

You can also click on the 1 icon & only see the deals with that icon.

It would be great to be able to do it the other way around, for us non-techie SDers. It seems like the Hot Deals forum is more and more dominated by tech deals these days, and I'd love to be able to filter those out. Is this a possibility?

Is this a possibility?Scroll nearly all the way to the bottom of Hot Deals, and you will see a bunch of icons (tech, home, apparel, audio, etc). Click on the icon you want to filter for, and you will get all the threads with that icon.

There is not a feature currently to filter out certain categories. Currently you get all deals. IMHO, clicking on each icon is faster, and searching for a certain item is the fastest.
