NO OT
so what was your favorite or most interesting question that you where asked in an interview when applying at a retail store (i.e. walmart, sears, jc pennys, target, burlington, etc.)?
it would seem they like to ask questions that start out "So tell me about a time when..."
and those online "behavioral" assessment questions... the trick is to either answer to the far left or far right and nothing in the middle. (i.e. either you totally agree or totally disagree.)

1. I'm saving that for my autobiography because seriously it was super crazy.
2. Never been asked that.
3. The correct response is to convey that you're a team player. I could never pass Target's "psych" tests and wondered why. Duh. It's no secret that I'm a Type A personalty and not a team player so that wouldn't be a good place for me to work.

oh yes, they want to hear that you are customer service oriented and a team player. that is a must in retail. oh and if you are an associate or team member that you do what you are told by management and that you let management answer and make decisions (i.e. customer questions/complaints)
