View Full Version : Bolding the name of OP on a thread

Would it be possible to bold the name of the person that started a thread or deal. That way we might take more notice if they make follow up posts. The name would only be bolded say 'green' for the duration of their posts on that thread. That way you will clearly see the OP for repping /praising ecc instead of having to untangle merged threads that go on for 30 pages or more.

I want the name to flash or change colors. Oh Oh! Maybe put a couple of lights like the woot-off lights on either side of the OP's name?!?!? Hmmmmm?
Anyway, i can see another barrage of questions from nOobies ... "Why is so an so's name a different color?"

its a nice idea, but not sure how feasible it is. the color coding is done by user groups. and we don't want to use any colors currently used by mods/admins.... people get confused easy.
perhaps a highlighted post?

If someone went inside the code of this forum and made it so there was a variable for the op then it would be possible :dontknow: I think it's a great idea.
