If I put someone on my ignore list- I won't see their posts, right?
What happens when they start a thread? Will I not see it but will see the replies? Nothing at all?
What happens when they reply to a thread? Will it get bumped yet I'll see nothing, or will I not see it bumped?

You won't see their posts at all. But you will see threads they start and it will bump the thread when they post in it.

it's too bad the ignore feature do not work when you aren't logged in. i would love to not have to see the ignored even when i'm a guest.

Has this behavior changed recently?
If I'm ignoring the thread, the most recent thread shows something like "you're ignoring this thread".
But for other cases, I'm seeing something in the "most recent thread" box on the main forums page. But when I go into that forum, I do NOT see the thread.

It's because of the way the threads are indexed in vBulletin. There's not much we can do about that. :dontknow:

Yes, if you ignore the person, their threads or posts won't show up. They no longer exist for you. I have ideas to enhance the ignore but it requires revamping how vb handles it.
