Hi,
I want to get the new Sony A77 but wanted to know where I should start.
Is the kit lens a good one http://store.sony.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=8198552921666375275
or should I buy the body for $1400 and a different lens separately... I wanted to get it a 128GB SDXC class 10 card so it takes pictures faster but does it really make a difference? Thanks

What I mean by best is like best value for the money. I really don't want to spend more than 3000k on this entire package with a warranty. for now.

The kit lens is a great lens and you're not going to find anything better with that sort of range and a fixed 2.8 aperture. There's 16-35mm Zeiss lens which runs around $1900 and the classic 17-35mm Minolta G series lens which you'll have to find used. I would go with a smaller faster SD card. There really is no reason for 128gb unless you plan on being far from a computer to offload the pictures to for a while. You could fit like 10 hours of video or 5000 RAW files on that. Also class 10 means that it writes at a minimum 10MB/S, there are much faster cards out there (Sandisk Extreme Pro, Kingston UltimateXX). While I do keep a spare card with me I've missed far more shots because I had to wait for my buffer to clear than because I had filled my cards.

Wow thanks, I didn't know that, I thought that class 10 was the fastest! and 10 hours wow! I though I would only get like 3 or 4 hours...I guess 64gb would be way better. Thanks so much
