Probably been suggested before but can you add a link to the slickdeal forum thread under the description of the deal on the main page? That would be sweet...

If I am understanding your request correctly--alls you need to do is click on the "comments" link (upper right hand corner of deal discription) and it will take you to the deal's thread.
That is what you wanted, right?
