I'm thinking that like the Black Friday subforum, there should be a subforum for all of these "Wii/PS3 INSTOCK at So and So Stores." It'll clean up the areas in Hot Deals. So hopefully only less than retail stuff would be in the Hot Deals thread.

Or instead of a Wii/PS3 subforum... it'll be something that is usually High Demand Low Supply during certain seasons... that'll include the Elmo toys and stuff.

Since wii and ps3 (and elmo) are such a hot item this time of year, there is nothing wrong with them being posted in hot deals. If people are willing (and actually often hoping) to pay retail price with such enthusiasm, it's hot. After all, "hot" is defined by price and/or availability. Things in deficit are often popular, whether the deficit is natural or created.

We try and clean up the forum once they sell out, and are properly moved out of HD into deal talk. We don't see them all, but they die out on their own anyway.
