I have an HP Envy 17 and having a problem with the bluetooth. For some reason it's not finding any bluedevices. But yet all other bluetooth devices can find it. I also have an HP Envy 14 right next to it and it can find all the devices.

I have tried uninstaller drivers and then reinstalling them. rebooting the computer. Multiple bluetooth mice as well as even my cell phone.

The problem may be caused by one or more of the following: the power switch for the device is turned off, Bluetooth is disabled on the device, the device is not in the discoverable mode, or the Bluetooth module needs to be reseated.

well I know it can't be the first 3 since everything else can detect the bluetooth on the computer but the computer can't detect any bluetooth devices. Not sure how to reset the module or if that would work.

Yes I have, bluetooth used to work great but started having problems all of a sudden. But as I said before it just can't detect anything but everything can detect it. The phone can see the computer but the computer can't see the phone. And yes before you ask I double chk to see if it's discoverable and everything.

Have you tried removing the bluetooth driver and reinstalling it?
