HELLO I have more suggestions about how I would totally change everything around. Well just 1 this time. OK here's what I suggest. The Hot Deals forum often has threads that start several days in advance of a deal. Like this one here:

40% Off The List Price of One Book @ Borders [12/12 ONLY] (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?t=393331)

This is obviously a good deal but under the present system this deal will not make it to the front page until tomorrow, 12/12. If I only found out about this tomorrow it would probably be too late for me to get in on it because my plans would already be set.

I think it would be nice if you could have an 'Upcoming Deals' section on the front page, for highly rated deals that are not yet valid. I would organize them by date.

On the side bar of the front page- sometimes upcoming deals are featured there. Granted, it isn't a place specifically for upcoming deals, but occationally.

Hey, that is a good idea-- to have a section specifically for "upcoming deals." Perhaps it could be only a link on the front page rather than an addition that would take up too much space on the home page.

I renew my call for upcoming (slick)deals. Here is a good deal that starts February 18th:

This is another example of the kind of deal that should be front page material before the deal actually starts.
Just put an upcoming deals bar, just the bar and label it Upcoming Deals.
Then put a +, like you do for forum posts, and you click the + and it shows sorts when the deal was first posted.
