Is it possible to have a subforum for rebates in Freebies or Hot Deals? If not would you add a rebate icon? I try & post rebates when I find them, but am also interested in rebates other people find. Thank you.

Try using the new tags. You can find them on top of every post and in the bootom right of the forum page.

Sorry if I was unclear rayzac. What I was wondering is if there could be an icon for example like "money", "tech", "media" etc. for "rebates" so it could be filtered by category. I think people would find it helpful. I know I would be interested. I get the "tags" thing now but still think an icon would be helpful.

Also on the same subject could we have some other Freebie icons added? There are so many posts which use the "other" icon. I started a thread http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=86892&t=368443 and never got an answer (yes/no/maybe/we will work on it).

Lastly this is off topic and I hate to show everyone that I am a dinosaur but can someone tell me what Wii is? I am just curious.

If you seriously don't know- it's a gaming system. (xbox, playstation) it just came out... Remember NES? It's their newest version basically. You can use the remote to bowl or sword fight or whatever, instead of just holding it in your hand and sitting down.

I good idea would be for you to youtube it. Video would probably be a better explination.

I honestly think a rebate icon would work against the intention of the icons. As it is now, I can click on games for example and see all Hot Deals on games. If I click rebates, there is essentially no filtering by product type, only everything that has a rebate. I do not see that as very useful myself.

What would be better is if I click games and can tell by thread title if there is a rebate required. You can also use the tag filtering to find rebate items to accomplish pretty close to what you are asking for.

As for the new freebie icons, I cannot say for sure if those will be implemented or not.
