View Full Version : Can we make certain rules more widely known?

I'm new here, however someone in this thread (http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=40809) apparently called customer service. I haven't been around long, however I know not to do this. Is there any way to make certain deals viewable to Slickdeals.net members only? I ask, because if this was done, then there could be an acknowledgment of "appropriate/inappropriate behavior or procedures". I'm thinking that registration would be dependent on someone at least reading/viewing The The RULES, FAQ,TIPS,and ABBREVIATIONS (PLEASE READ) (http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=40596&highlight=rules+slickdeals) thread, specifically this post (http://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=323994&postcount=2). I'm thinking that for those people not swift enough to not do certain things, they will at least be made aware. I'm betting most people do things like calling in, because they simply haven't read the sticky. If it mandated in signing up for the forums, then this might help substantially.

Any thoughts?

I second that motion.

DELETED

I think you misunderstand my post. It is directed to the Mods. I am addressing an oft-occuring situation in which novices/newbies call companies and mess up deals...that or flood the knowledge about slickdeals, which can render slickdeals useless because of a pop fad following.

The people who call and things like that are the same ones who would only pretend to read the rules.

Not to mention the hundreds of people who call, but aren't even registered to post about it.
