I tried to post my first deal in the Hot Deals forum but the post was deleted and I don't know why.

It was a website with adult toys that had a 50% off code.

Are adult posts ok?

Is there some way to find out what I did wrong?

We decided awhile back not to allow adult toys to be posted. We had an influx of these "deals" posted as jokes. It also brought along all the vulgar comments and jokes that are not appropriate for here or the work place..

Condoms and other "safe" sex products are ok.

Not allowed are "sex" costumes either.

If you would buy it at a drugstore, you can usually list it on SD. If you would buy it at a store where all the windows are blacked out, you usually can't list it on SD.

You know what....I've read some of your posts, especially on sexual subjects......grrr....I'm not even going to go there...

Perhaps there could be a deals section for controversial or NWS items. I know we had an issue with someone posting a controversial freebie.

Sort of like a "podium" for deals.

Another good idea...but I worry that the mod's would have a lot of "Overhead" in policing that deal section.
