But if you are buying more than item you can use another code for 20% off on the second item with BRSUMMER. Also since BR clothes are a little expensive your bill would surely go over $50, so don't forget to use your free shipping code BRCARD if you have a BR, GAP or OLDNAVY credit card. (Its a minimum of $125 in purchases to get free shipping with code BRFREE if you use any other credit card). Also you can use the string of characters on the back of the $10 or $15 rewards card they send you, to reduce your final total.

If you do a search, you will see that they had 30% off this year, late spring or early summer. It was not a F&F discount. They definately do it more than once a year, not including friends and family.

i checked out my local store, and noticed that most of the items on big sale are tagged as "sum'07". most of the regular stuff now is fall'07. i picked up a polo for $10, and a henley for $8.50. a big ymmv on this.

There's no need to be obnoxious. The only reason that person asked was because it'd a bit odd to walk up to the cashier and tell him/her to enter the code. The cashier can get in trouble if they don't have the hard copy of the coupon. If the manager checks on the register and sees that he/she used 10 coupons for all the transactions and there's only 4 coupons, then what would they say? "Oh some customer told me a code # and I put it in."

And if you read your own coupon it says Banana Republic Factory store. Get rid of the attitude!

i was able to buy it in a different color. so we'll see which one is best. i just hope it doesn't run out. that bag is really popular, sold out fast!

Apparently there is a new BR Visa Card. But you need to be approved. I guess if you have the Luxe card, they'd give it out. Only way stores give out their Visa card is if you shop there so much.

Is there a code? Factory stores though do not carry many items that regular ones do but still a great deal nonetheless.

I bought some items totaling about 234. I used the Visa Gift 15%, BR Holiday 20%, and Ship Free. All three codes registered but the total price looked too high. I called their 800 number and they said that since they usually only allow 1 discount code per order, their computers had to be overridden manually. She said she would do this and the change would be effective in 24-72 hours. I'm hopeful that this is the last time I have to call them :) Anyway, since all of the items I bought were temporarily 30% off (ends tomorrow)...I feel that this was a better deal than waiting for the friends and family codes. You can still do it tomorrow if you feel the same way. Just remember to call to make sure they override the total properly. Cheers
