For the last few days, I have searched for items before I posted them and as soon as I post.. Im hit with a REPOST by some newbie.
When I look into it, sure enough, the item is a repost!
Whats the deal? Im doing a full search.
Could it be that the first poster is putting the link of the company within a hyperlink?
I think if posters would put the company name in the title and have the URL visable within the post, it would stop a lot of my reposting.
Anyone got any suggestions?

Oh yeah. Some people get off on yelling REPOST!! I hope some newbie does that to me. I'll follow them around the forums and yell REPOST!! in every single fo their threads.

jen, sometimes I just remember having posted in a thread and search through my own posts to find a particular thread. not sure what search terms were used by the person who reported the repost, but I think it would be useful to ask them, just in case.
I'd go as far as removing any post proclaiming "REPOST!" without providing a link, since without the link it's pretty useless to peg a thread a REPOST.

Yeah, that can be fun. The problem is that most of them never post again, or all they post is "repost!".
Now posting that them saying REPOST is a repost -that could be fun.

its happened to me a lot and its because the search is really specific. an example, i saw a free f1 sticker. so i searched for f1, ambah had started a thread called formula 1. forceflex!=force flex. so its either live with the reposts morons or stop posting. i'd personally take the former.
