I did a search for this, but couldn't find anything. Is there any way to highlight the message area when there are new messages. Unless I am waiting for something, I forget to look and then realize it way later? Thank You

are you talking about your private messages? go to your User CP and edit your options to receive a pop-up notification whenever you get a new PM.

I have the pop-up notification. I just thought that when signing in to the site, it would be nice to see the pm area highlighted or something. ty

on the front page it should show you if you have any pm's, and then on the forum in the top right you can check yourself.

plus you can have an email sent whenever you recieve a pm.

I understand what you are saying, and I like the flashing message when I'm signed on, I just thought the highlight idea would make it easier. I don;t want to do the e-mail thing. Anyway, thanks for your help.

after you sign on, the PM box is part of your header (it's always there). The background color is a little darker than the box next to it. and when you do get a new message, the Unread total will be a bold colored number.

this is just a matter of simply roving your eyes to the box on the right of your header.
