I have heard a lot of people wondering about sites where you can get amazon gift cards. I thought it might be good to get a list going. I know of 2 sites.

I am unhappy with mysurvey.com this week. I spent 1000 points for a free DVD certificate--only to find that it is some random DVD seller with horrific choices. I can't have my points put back into my account, and I really don't want or need any of the handful of DVDs offered to me :( Most of them are grade B movies.

Testspin is terrible and I've heard Lightspeed is bad but I don't use them so I don't know. The best site that pays in Amazon GC's is Stanford Survey Panel. There is a thread you can go to about them here: http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=190609&t=549676

You don't think $5 is a lot for a survey? If you check the thread often you'll get in on a couple a week maybe. Yale & UCLA (I believe)does it as well.

I think that for taking the time to help them they should give us $10. We deserve it. For that UCLA one it seems you have to have an e-mail @ucla.edu. Thanks though. I had heard there was a Harvard site. I might check that out.

Why do you deserve it? Most of their surveys are between 10-20 minutes. If you do an average of 15 minutes a survey for $5, that's making $20/hour. Now that's not great if you're an executive somewhere but a poor college student like myself says that $5 is quite a bit.

The reasoning is because we are helping them with their research. They get funding to the tune of thousands of dollars to do this research and spend a lot of that money paying people to help them. Since we are getting them the info to publish in books and become more distinguished we should be getting a $5 raise for all the help. Plus, costs keep going up, but they haven't upped their monetary offers.

And maybe they are using up all the research money on $5 per person for everyone. I still don't see why we deserve $10 instead of $5.

readyfordeals

You should get it in about 2-3 weeks I would say once status changes to printing. Most of the time that is the case. However, I requested a check on May 3rd and still have not gotten it from them. 2 calls later and still have not gotten it or heard back from them. Hopefully you'll have better luck.

The only way you can get into pinecone, is though the banner. Keep a eye on the pinecone thread . But I haven't seen any one posted about where the links are.

Sometimes you will see the banner on SD

good luck, but pinecone is not as good as it use to be.

I used to be with them, they removed me off the panel because they said I never responded to emails they never sent :( I haven't been able to get back on it even when I did find a banner.

I put it off for too long and when I tried to access the "important survey" from pinecone about a week or two ago, it was closed. I'm still receiving $5 surveys (not a lot of them), so I guess not answering is the same as saying no to the $3 bribe...

You can contact them via their site. I wouldn't worry about it though.....unless you ordered an "in stock" gift card, it can take 2 months to receive it, but it WILL come.

What about paypal? I placed my first two orders of a $25 Amazon and $25 Paypal. It said they were both 7 day shipping. The Amazon is now almost 2 weeks and the paypal will be 7 days tomorrow and nothing. With the paypal they have no reason to say it's out of stock. Will they hold that one up too or should I expect it tomorrow?

I have never done the paypal reward, but if you order a reward and it comes from the "instock" section, it usually comes in 7-10 days. If it comes from the "not in-stock section" , it will take 1-2 months. You could contact supoport through their site. They usually answer pretty fast.

Also, I started this thread awhile ago that may have some good info for you
http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?p=9913275#post9913275

Survey Site: Pinecone Research
Website: http://www1.pineconeresearch.com/
Grade: 9.5/10
Survey Police Rating: 88%
Intrepid's review: The general consensus of people about this survey company is that they are best survey site out there. It's hard to disagree with that. People who have been members of the site for a while get $5 a survey while the people that are signing up now are getting $3 a survey plus sweepstakes entries. You must find a website with a Pinecone banner to be able to sign up.
Pros: They pay through paypal or check for every survey. There is no minimum amount of $ to cash out. Every survey invitation you get in your e-mail means you are automatically qualified to take the study. You won't be disqualified! Most of the surveys will take 15 minutes or less.
Cons: The only bad part about Pinecone is trying to find a banner. Please go to this thread for more information about Pinecone: http://forums.slickdeals.net/show...9&t=558518

Survey Site: Survey Spot
Website: www.surveyspot.com
Grade: 9.0/10
Survey Police Rating: 77%
Intrepid's review: This has been the best site for me as far as amount of money made. Most surveys pay $3 but I have done surveys for $2, $5, $10, and $15. The minimum amount of money you need to cash out is $5. They will send out quite a few surveys a week. I typically get a couple a day. A lot of the invitations you will get in your e-mail are for non-paying studies. Many people as well as myself have found that if you do the non-paying surveys, you will get more paying surveys. They also have a sweepstakes game after you take a study (whether you get disqualified or not) with a chance to win some prizes.
Pros: They send out lots of survey invitations and you can make quite a good amount of money. You only need $5 to cash out which is only 2 paying surveys
Cons: It usually takes at least 3 weeks to get credit for a survey and even more time to cash out for check. The only option for payment is by check. They are slow to get back to you if you have a question/complaint but they do get back to you eventually.

Survey Site: Global Test Market
Website: www.globaltestmarket.com
Grade: 8.5/10
Survey Police Rating: 78%
Intrepid's review: This is a pretty good company. They send out many e-mail invitations a week to take surveys. The amount of $ you make varies. They have a point system. Every 5 points = .25 cents. Most surveys are usually for either 50 points (or $2.50) or 75 points (3.75). The great thing about this company is that if you don't qualify for a survey they will automatically give you 5 points just for trying. Payment is by check only.
Pros: They send out many survey invitations a week and you get at least 5 points just for trying. The amount of money you make per survey is a pretty good amount compared to many other survey companies.
Cons: You must have 1000 points ($50) to cash out. This takes a while but it's worth it when you get a $50 check in the mail.

Survey Site: Standford GSB Behavioral Lab
Website: http://sgsb2.sona-systems.com/
Grade: 8.5/10
Survey Police Rating: None
Intrepid's review: One of my favorite sites. A lot of the studies done on this site are geared toward college students. They pay in Amazon GC's. Most paying studies pay $5 a survey. There are also studies that are for drawings only. I personally have won a $25 GC from a drawing and many other people from SD have as well.
Pros: The studies are usually very interesting and not dull. The payment is very good and it's in Amazon which is good.
Cons: They are not currently accepting new people to this site. It is usually difficult to get into their studies as they are only up for a limited time on the site. They usually do not send out survey invitations so be sure and check the site frequently. For more info about Standford go to this thread http://forums.slickdeals.net/show...9&t=549676

Survey Site: Testspin
Website: www.testspin.com
Grade: 6/10
Survey Police Rating: 56%
Intrepid's review: This is one survey company that people either hate or love. I personally do not like this site and I would say a majority of people do not like it as well. They pay in Amazon GC's and are supposedly going to let you cash out via paypal/check in the future. They send a lot of surveys per week and I disqualify for pretty much every single one. You need $10 to cash out.
Pros: They send a lot of surveys so you have a chance to get into one. This site is also good for IT professionals as they are always looking for their opinions. When you can cash out the payment is instant.
Cons: They send so many survey invitations to me that it's almost like spam because I never qualify for them. They also take a long time to credit your account.

Survey Site: NFO MySurvey
Website: https://www.mysurvey.com/default.cfm
Grade: 6.5/10
Survey Police Rating: 87%
Intrepid's review: Not sure why survey police rates this so high but I haven’t done very well on this site. This is a points system. 10 points = 10 cents. Most of the surveys they send are only worth 10 points but sometimes that qualifies you for a longer survey paying more. You have to 1000 points ($10) to cash out. You can either get your money by check or you can redeem your points for prizes.
Pros: The surveys aren’t usually too long and are usually somewhat interesting.
Cons: The pay per survey is not very good. They also do not send out a whole lot of survey invitations. You need 1000 points to be able to cash out.

Survey Site: Opinion Outpost
Website: https://www.opinionoutpost.com/
Grade: 6.5/10
Survey Police Rating: 83%
Intrepid's review: Again, not sure why they are rated so high by survey police. You might get a couple survey invitations a week which I usually disqualify for. This is a point system. 10 points = $1.00. You need 50 points ($5.00) to be able to cash out for a check.
Pros: Surveys are usually fair in payment.
Cons: I disqualify for a lot of the invitations they send me. They also don’t send out too many per week.

Survey Site: HotSpex
Website: http://www.hotspex.com/
Grade: 5/10
Survey Police Rating: 84%
Intrepid's review: I personally am not a fan of this site. Maybe it’s because it’s hard to figure out. This is a very unique site. They try and make the surveys fun. You have to redeem the Hotbux(points) you get from studies on points.com. Never really figured this site out so I couldn’t tell you if the payout is good or not.
Pros: Very unique site. They try and make the surveys different than other sites.
Cons: The site is confusing. There is just too much clutter on every page with many different places you can go on the site.

Survey Site: Zoom Panel
Website: http://www.zoompanel.com/
Grade: 4.5/10
Survey Police Rating: 64%
Intrepid's review: I don’t really like this site. They send a lot of surveys per day but I usually disqualify for them. They do give you 5 points even if you don’t qualify for the survey. Not really sure what the point per dollar ratio is but I don’t think it’s very good. Also, the only thing you get do with your points is redeem them for prizes and most of the prizes aren’t very good until you get up into the high points range.
Pros: They will send you lots of surveys and they will give you 5 points just for trying.
Cons: The pay per survey is not very good. They also send you a lot of surveys that you won’t qualify for. Also, one time I took a study from them and completed the whole thing which took a good 15 minutes. I then put in my demographic information and they told me I disqualified. The prizes are also not that good.

Survey Site: HCD Surveys
Website: https://www.hcdsurveys.com/panel/index.cfm
Grade: 8.0/10
Survey Police Rating: None
Intrepid's review: Definitely one of the better sites that I’m a part of. The surveys are usually about events that are currently happening around the world. Most of the surveys they send out now are about the election in November. This is a points system. 100 points = $1.00. You need 1000 points ($10) to cash out. Most surveys pay only $1-$2. You will need to have your sound on for these surveys as most of them will include a video clip or two. Be sure to take the survey soon after you receive the invitation because they will fill up quickly.
Pros: It is usually not too hard to qualify for their surveys. The surveys are also usually somewhat fun and are usually 10 minutes or less.
Cons: They don’t send a lot of survey invitations and the pay isn’t the best. You have to have 1000 points to cash out.

I've made around $300 from them.

I've only been with them for 4-6 weeks, and a couple weeks ago I won a $100 Amazon GC with their IWG. Just received it in my email a few days ago. :woot: Not sure about their actual survey payments, tho.

i've received at least 200 from them... they are a reputable site, for sure.
are the surveys you are doing actually SAY they are for a monetary amount?
they send out tons of UNPAID surveys as well as paid ones...

I signed up for Testspin a few weeks ago, and have NEVER qualified for the very few surveys theyve sent me. Talk about a worthless survey site......:vomit:

I just have a comment on ZoomPanel. I've had nothing but trouble from them and requested my account be closed today. A year ago it took me about 2.5 months to have points returned to me when a redeemed prize never showed up. I had to send multiple feedback messages before I was even acknowledged and several more when their "canned" responses didn't help me.

I finally hit the 5000 point mark last month and had something chosen to redeem and got several errors during the redemption request. When I sent feedback, it was ignored. After several attempts, I finally got the redemption request to go through.

The item arrived today, looking like it had been torn open, used and then discarded in someone's garage for a few months. It was ripped up and covered in dirt/dust. I sent in feedback again, but doubt it will do any good. Perhaps others have had better luck, but I've had it with ZoomPoints. I'll never do another survey for them again.

Ok, rant over! :)

Does anyone know how long does it takes to get paid on MyView.com.

When I click rewards this is what it says:
"Yes, you clicked the right button. And yes, your rewards should be here on your Member Page. But these technical things take time."

Referrals are forbidden on SD even in PM's. You need to look for a banner to sign up for Pinecone.

there alot listed in the survey forum, you just have to look around, like surveyspot , greenfield and other listed in this forum.

put in the search list of pay surveys see what you come up with.

cashlagoon.com is great gpt site. Iv made over 150 dollars from them since last year

$2 minimum cashout

This is a scam website that makes you wade through hundreds of ads, trying to trick you into signing up for an offer.
They lie by saying the ads are to make sure you are not a robot. Bull. They get paid to have them on their site. If they are going to lie about this, do you want to trust them? I don't.

This type of thread has been posted many times before, half of these sites just waste time... I belong to maybe 10 of the good ones, but thanks for the refresher course and thanks for the effort... but geesh more than half of these sites should be avoided.

What do you consider to be the 10 good ones
