I think its becoming a problem more and more people are just using slickdeals for gmail and nothing more. You go to the free section. Giving away yada yada gmail accounts or somebody on their first post anybody got gmail, its annoying!

I thought thats why they put up a sticky?

It is, and I really don't mind. If people want to give away their Gmail invites, let them; they're all over the net anyhow. You shouldn't have to shell out money on eBay or send somebody a postcard just to get an invite, and we're all friendly here. Let's keep up the spirit of giving and keep those invites coming :woot:
And where's the 'Hotmail promised me 250MB of space but it's been months and I'm still at 2MB' option on the poll?

You should be banned for creating yet another thread about banning gmail threads.

I would agree with Geek that something needs to be done about the overflow of Gmail threads in the Freebie forum. There currently is no sticky for the Gmail stuff and there are one-post-wonders starting new threads multiple times daily instead of posting in an already existing thread. I wouldn't care if the Gmail threads were banned, but I think that making a sticky for them and consolodation would be a great first step. I don't like the idea of SD being used as a place for these one-post-wonders to offer and take Gmail invites and then never coming back or participating. I'd like to hear the Mods' input on this matter.

Thanks for resolving the situation YWC! :woot: The Freebies Forum already looks cleaner and I think everyone will be happy.
I still don't like newbs coming in and posting once for a Gmail account and then never coming back, but I don't think there is any practical solution to that.

I Think The Bigger Problem Is All The People Complaining.
There Is A Thread Devoted To It.
