Yes, I did that on one of my orders. But some people also reported having problem with such orders and their GC ended up being wiped off. So YMMV.

It hasn't happened to me, but Sephora said on FB that the codes are the same for both of those. They're basically different versions of the same exact coupon, so you can't use them both. It's either one or the other version.

Make sure you check your online profile, to check that you have it so that they send you mail. A lot of people were saying that theirs got changed to not receive mail from Sephora and that they had to switch it back. Sephora also said to call customer service if you did not get your code, so I would do that. They can look up your account and see if you made VIB status in time to get this promo, and if so, give you your code to use.

I had store credit i wanted to use, so when i went in the store, i just told the manager about it and she took the $20 off my purchase. and also if u want to order online, just call and they will take it off, but u'll have to actually spend the $40. hope that helps

just one. :( so you either have to choose free 2 day shipping with UPS2DAY or a code to get a freebie like the tokidoki tote (today's is LEGNO).


The 2 day shipping only works if your item can fly by air-- note some of you might be having problems with the code if you're trying to use it on something like perfume or nail polish that needs to go by ground or if you're using a PO Box, it's not eligible to fly by air :dontknow:. If you try doing a mock order with something, and if it's eligible the $9.95 shipping option will show up to choose it. hth!

So it might work in your favor if they understand it wasn't processing (or if they say it was used, they can see the order wasn't actually made during the time period).

They had charged me $10 after I had returned one item. I had VIB $20 GC, purchased two
items $36 + 20= $56. After taxes and using the GC the total was $41.46.
I returned the $36 item since it didn't work out, the manager didn't know how to issue the
refund, she called sephora. In the end, my refund was $36 + taxes - $10. :rolleyes:

First time for me, other times it did not deduct.:confused:

I think if you return without reciept then they don't deduct pts otherwise they do, definately with online orders since they scan the barcode and everything prob comes up automatically

Not magic, just highly pigmented, so girls who usually have trouble having eye makeup show up or not lasting on them do well with UD. These are also a collector's item to an extent and that's why they're selling out/going for mad $$ on auction sites. The primer has a cult following, but I don't think it's any better than the others out there. It depends on the look you're going for (matte/shiny/etc)

Thanks for the replies, I guess its just one of those things people want? I understand about wanting highly pigmented shadows but I find HIP loreal is the best for me with any eye primer (I use the cheap ulta brand I think its like $5) but everyone has there prefernce I guess?

Well UDPP is my 2nd fav, after MAC

I almost everyday wears brown/neutral shades e/s. This palette contains the brown neutral shades I like. :)

I haven't tried philosophy's Oxygen Peel, but the Microdelivery peel is HG for me. I can't imagine anything working better than that stuff. (the 2 step system, not the wash or pads)

I have the laura mercier one already with the little brush, the brush is cute and nice but actually using the product is really difficult for me..i cant get it out of the container evenly enough!

I got the Laura Mercier mini too because of the reviews for it. They all say it looks great on but I'm going to have to practice applying it for sure. I've never used a loose powder before, only compacts with a brush.

It looks like that is not the only thing they changed...the set now comes with an eyeshadow brush instead of the eyeliner duo. It looks like they deleted the old listing and created a new one (instead of just updating the new one), so if you had it on your online "shopping list" you many need to re-add it, as mine was deleted.

The Urban Decay website is still showing the original set and price, but it is out of stock.

from the sephora reviews, majority of them have the same flaws as yours, fingerprint and nail mark.
one or two of their workers must be lazy to use gloves.

I'll pick up mine from UPS at noon. Can't wait.

I would feel the same way. I didn't get one this last time, but after reading the reviews, my lust for this palette is gone completely.

:shake: I keep seeing more and more of this happening. I had given a not so great review on the tarte eyelash curler, and that was taken down a couple days ago. That's really dissappointing (to me at least) since I *always* read reviews before I buy something.

hmmm, that's good to know. I am sometimes surprised by the amount of positive reviews for a given product on Sephora. I think I'll stick to makeupalley for honest reviews...

Hence..... Why I don't trust sephora's reviews at all.
