I must admit, I am also a little disappointed. I used my points to get the "surprise pack" as well. I got a bottle of Sunsilk shampoo and a tube of Revlon lipstick. Now, don't get me wrong, it's nice stuff, altogehter probbaly retails for around $12.00. BUT.......when I saw other ladies in here reporting that their "surprise packs" retailed for $60 or more........well........that was indeed a "surprise" to me!! It seems Allure should keep things a bit more even.

I totally agree that Allure should try to even up the packages as far as value or at least as far as how many points someone redeemed. I don't know if they did that or not as I have very few points and probably will never redeem. I know I would never go for the surprise pack though - that's just not in my nature! :lol:

Yea, it is actually really light on your hair and makes it soft once it is dry. It adds body, but isn't heavy at all. And yes, the consistency is a lil odd :lol: . Almost looks a lil vulgar :lol: .

I got a maybelline great lash mascara in very black, rembrant whiting toothpaste, a hard candy cassette tape pallet, 3 eye shawdows and 3 lip glosses I really like this made up for the other 2 things that seriously couldn't have been worse for me :( oh & I got 6 packets of aveeno sunblock. I have 7 + mascaras already and I hate this mascara I know they its supposed to be great but not for me, and I just bought senstive toothpaste I can't use whiting toothpaste so at least I got the hardcandy pallet I don't need it but hey free is free, if anyone wants to trade anything for the toothpaste or mascara PM me :)

Yeah I seem to remember them asking me about products and not just lifestyle when I signed up, but maybe I'm wrong. If I could, I would go back and say I'm extremely interested in everything just so they'd send me surveys!

Dear Allure Expert,

Congratulations! You and a friend have been selected for a chance to try a new skin care product.

If you qualify for this product trial, Allure will send you 2 skin care products – 1 for you and 1 for a friend. This product trial requires that you both use the skin care product as often as you like, but at least daily, during a two week period.

Allure is very interested in you and your friend’s thoughts about the skin care product so we will contact you at the end of the trial (about two weeks) to get your feedback. You will be invited to a forum to share your experience with the skin care product as well as any conversations you have had with your friend about the product. This forum also gives you the opportunity to talk with other Allure Experts and hear their opinions on the skin care product. We are excited about this new feature we’ve added to the Allure Experts panel, so be among the first to post your thoughts on the forum.

it was for 2, 1 for self & a Friend (skin care products), i got the email did the survey and DQ and got that message:cool:

Shouldn't we have been able to redeem our Pretty Points, or whatever they are calling them these days, in June?!?! I know that I never got an invitation to do that.

I emailed them this week to ask about the "June Opportunity" and they responded that they are putting the "finishing touches" on an email to go out late this week or next week to announce the points promotion. Stay tuned to your emails...!

there were samples of some products and some people had a dvd on their list...i don't remember if the samples were labeled deluxe. Then there was the beauty booty (2 random products for 20 points).

Yup, that's what they said! It takes a TON to get 40 points. I think I only have like 24 and I've taken every survey offered to me and done several PT.

You're lucky they told you that you're getting hair products because I've won a couple of times and they never told me what I was getting. The last time I won I emailed them and asked and they wrote back and said it would be a "beauty product".
