While I'm not trying to sound ungreatful, I just thought for 40 points I might receive something a little different than the people who cashed in 20 points :dontknow: They wouldn't let me cash out for 20 points or I would have.

I have never won anything from a magazine and after reading alot of skeptical comments about Allure's non-existent prize shipping policies, I lost hope.Today I opened my mailbox to find a tiny white package from Allure... and in it was my 1.7 oz bottle of Marc Jacob's "Daisy" fragrance. I never even knew what fragrance I was going to get in the first place, but now I have fallen in love with this ARV $57 bundle of joy that looks adorable and smells great. I can't even complain about the slow shipping anymore~ I will post pics later!!

I never received my "new beauty product" which they offered me a while ago (July 28) and when I emailed them about it, they told me they cannot resend it cause the testing period is over already. :( I wonder if they really sent me or they just lied about it.

I also redeemed 20 beauty points but until now I have not received anything yet. They said it will take 4-8 weeks. :( Lots of people already received theirs, I wonder why I haven't.

I haven't received the product test yet either and neither have my points been deducted from my acct for the other thing I'm supposed to get - whatever the heck that is. I get plenty of really great beauty product tests from other survey places so I won't be all that disappointed in this one if it's not too good. :rolleyes:

There are a number of survey places that do beauty PT from time to time. Like tat2gurl said, Marketview is one. So is Synovate and sometimes Survey Spot when they pass you on to another company. I also test with a couple of companies themselves. Right now I'm still using a facial wash that I tested for Aveda and I've been with them for 3 or 4 years now. I don't think they have open enrollment any longer but if I ever hear of it, I will post. I'm also on the testing panel for Dr. Brandt but I've only gotten to test 2 things for them - the Microdermabrasion cream that's on the market now (2 different versions). I've tested for Matrix before but I think they ended that because I haven't had any PT's from them in a long time. I even had a company send me several cans of hairspray out of the blue, with no survey or anything and ask me to test them and I think that was just because I'm signed up with their website. Oh heck there was another company that did that with a skincare product but I can't remember who they were right now - it was long ago. Anyway, just sign up with as many survey companies as you can and personally I would sign up with the manufacturers when they ask if you want to receive email from them, etc. It's brought me many product tests by doing that! Good luck! :)

There was a link long ago to join up with B&BW but I can't find it. It's probably not active any longer anyway but from time to time they will open up the membership. I usually get a card at the end of each year in the mail wanting to know if I want to continue, so maybe when they get enough people that drop out, they open up enrollment again. I also use to get B&BW product tests from mindfieldonline, probably more from them than B&BW but not lately. In fact, lots of the beauty tests seem to have dried up lately - maybe it's the economy??? Johnson and Johnson is another place that used to do beauty tests (Aveeno products usually) but I must be on their do not contact list lately too. Hmmm......

I had to click on about 5 or 6 different prompts to get the security features of my email to actually allow me to read it. :lol: I guess they really thought Allure is a bunch of spammers.

It's just a notification that you will be getting the PT mascara. You don't have to respond or reply or anything.

I got the email, and it said that it was on its way. I also just got a Redken Sun in the hair product package with tanning pad from Allure Expert Panel. Hello! It is September in Chicago, and we are already at 50 degrees. :P

If you're talking about the Chanel mascara, it's not a full-sized sample, it's only sample-sized 3g (0.09 Oz).

I think the key is the profile you filled when you registered and your demographics. Maybe you can update your demographics (if something has changed lately)? However, I don't know you can do it on their site. I couldn't find a place to update your profile...

I haven't received the beauty benefits reward either, I redeemed 20 points. I emailed them last time and they said:

Just the other day I went to the site and it had all my points and seems as I had never had any deducted for the reward !!! If you haven't gotten anything yet I would suggest that maybe go look at your account to see if they took the points out . At least you'll kinda know if there is something coming or not. JMO :wave:

Same here....but my email was for 20 points, and now it says this "TOTAL POINTS EARNED: 41.00"

no. I contacted UPS who said it was delivered... they said I can contact the sender to file an investigation but that just seems like so much trouble for some free diapers. Guess I'll let it go. I guess it must have been some shiesty neighbors that took it, that or the shady UPS man dropped it at the wrong house and the neighbor just didn't give it to me. That's what I get for living in a cheaper neighborhood I guess. Thanks for asking though :hug:
