It's hard to find coupons for these places but here's an easy 10% off if you can wait.

Those married people know that when you register for gifts at some stores they will give you a 10% off coupon to complete your registry (and anything else you want). You don't have to register for a wedding, some sites have category "other" or select birthday. You may not have to wait to get your coupon. I called Restoration Hardware and she gave me the discount over the phone.

These 10% coupons are good for big ticket items. We bought several furniture pieces and save a couple hundred dollars each. Good luck.

Thanks so much for this. I was planning to buy dining room and living room furniture, and went ahead and registered for a house warming party. They told me a Crate and Barrel that they need the actual coupon, which will not arrive for a few weeks after the party, but will apply the credit on my whole purchase, including anything else I purchase between now and then. This save me over $800 today alone.

Big Thanks!!!

So i have been trying this registry method only i can't figure out how to use it with furniture.

I have my coupon, can I just go in the store and buy furniture and whip out the coupon? It wouldn't let me add it to my registry.

ideas?

Thanks!

Definitely works for furniture. We just bought a table and bench. Either call or bring it to the store.

We did not put the furniture on the registry but just went to the store with the coupon.
