I was wondering about this too. As a former Grad student, I can attest that most work through the summer (in fact the work load doubles as they don't take classes). But I don't know if the studies will be up during the summer. That is for some of the more experienced folks here (who have been on the panel much longer than me) to answer. :)

Nice attitude. He didn't even list which survey the gift card was for in hie mail. It said it was for one or the other. I did both, but the reactions to advertisements one messed up. I got the email and replied for doing both of the surveys and i have only been paid for one. I replied and told him i didn't appreciate his attitude and that they should do a better job labeling the gift cards so that we know what we are being paid for. :mad:

I did, too. Funny thing is that he specifically told me that he looked in the database and said that my email address was not recorded and that I would not be receiving payment for the study.

I gotta agree...but I kinda have to give a bit of understanding.....if this guy is a Manager or not ....being new to preforming these surveys and how they work seems to be very intricate work, sure mistakes were abundant with this ... I know we have our favs in so far as the surveys researchers we look for ( Catlin for example) but someone putting out their first survey and have the entire thing become a jumbled mess ....well I give a bit of grace towards that researcher ... Shucks they fulfilled the commitment or seem to be trying to ....I say give some slack...
We get so much from our Stanford....I am very willing to send some understanding back that way..

Please! Do not discuss the contents of ANY surveys for any reasons. A lot, if not most of them rely on your unbiasted opinion. Once you know what to expect, the opinion changes. These PHD candidates work very hard, so do not mess with their research. Thanx

Since details are not yet clear about how new website will operate, i will leave old tips up. Only thing i can add right now is, once you select the timeslot, it will not be tied to that. I was able to just select timeslot for 9am, and the comformation email i recieved contained direct link with the study being available.

If you already have some more details to add, please pm me and i will gladly add it

1st Ignore the points in the appointments tab, they are useless for us
2nd There are several types of paying surveys.
-Surveys where everyone gets paid (usually $5 Amazon GC)
-Surveys with lottery (prizes start at $25 Amazon GC to $100 Amazon GC)
-Surveys that pay with paypal(they will ask your address or you provide it at the end)
-Surveys that are paid with check being mailed to you...

FAQ
1. When are the surveys posted? In my experience, they are posted anytime!, but I have noticed that a lot of them show up at 6-7am.
2. Omg, I have missed the survey, what i'm i gonna do? 90% of surveys comeback a few times over the next few days(sometimes weeks)
3. What are these surveys that say I can't do them for various reasons? They are either designed for specific group of people who did some previous survey that you have not done, or some surveys are broken up into several parts(for different states/political affilication, etc)

If I forgot something or you have something useful to add, plz pm me and i will add it!

Lately I've noticed a few studies that state that they can only be taken one per household on the main page when you first "view the website". Is it possible you could have missed that when starting the study? There is also 2 accounts in my household and has been for a few years now though I've haven't had any problems. But I always make sure to read the first page of the study because if it is one per household it would be stated there. Hope everything gets straightened out for you:)

yes i too have seen a couple of those individual surveys 1 per household, but this one i did not see that!? so i sent off email, will wait and see:confused:
