I hope your sister signed herself up? I am sorry if I am sounding judgmental, I just know that the Stanford people used to lurk on here and randomly ban people they thought were signing into others accounts and such.
if they stopped the random bannings and lurking, and you aren't signing into your sisters account, I apologize.

I had this issue before with them and have explained it; surveys are up for such a short time whoever finds them first signs up and we take it whenever.

you.

Don't know about anyone else, but I can't get very excited about spending 25 minutes to be "entered into a drawing for a $25 Amazon.com gift card."
I've done almost 200 of these studies in the past 2 years, and I won $10 once.
I would rather have a 1 in 10 shot at $10 than a 1 in 25 (or 50) shot at $25.
I just signed up for a 10-minute one with a lottery for a $100 GC.

Still waiting on part two Personality and Managerial Simulation where I did part one on 8/18 @ ~ 8:00pm.
I wouldn't suppose their system is all botched up because some people have taken the survey without being registered. There has been some of that going around. If one is not registered, there's NO chance one will succeed by taking a study unless they really know how to cheat the system. I dunno..........

Ongoing Negotiation #3
Description This study is a little different than the other studies you may have taken on this website, as you will be engaging in an email negotiation with another participant. You will start the exercise by completing a personality survey that will allow us to learn more about you. After you fill out this personality survey, we will email you instructions for a two-party, multiple-issue negotiation exercise in which you will represent a company merging with another company merging to form another company. You will be guaranteed an $13 Amazon Gift Certificate for completing the negotiation exercise. You will also be entered in a lottery with a prize of a $100 Amazon.com gift certificate. The number of tickets you receive for this lottery will depend upon the agreement you reach in the negotiation. In other words, the more points you obtain in the negotiation exercise the more chances you will have to win the $100 gift certificate! There will be at least one lottery for every 40 participants. The exercise should run something like this: Step 1: You fill out the personality profile and provide your email address Step 2: We email you a link to the negotiation instructions specific to your role (and you answer a few questions). Just following these instructions, you will enter the contents of your first email to your counterpart. Step 3: Either you or your counterpart continues negotiations by sending an email to an email address we will provide (to keep your email addresses confidential, we will forward the emails between you and your counterpart) Step 4: You negotiate with your counterpart by sending emails to the specified address Step 5: You eventually reach an agreement with the other party (or decide that you are better off not reaching an agreement) and notify us of that agreement Step 6: We email you a link to a post-negotiation questionnaire, which you will then complete Step 7: We issue you an $13 Amazon.com gift certificate, and we enter you in a lottery with a prize of $100. I'm sad. But I think it might have to do with the fact that i missed a time slot for the investment game and i "cancelled it" and signed up again (for a later time slot) and then did the survey.

Hi,
I'm wondering if you wouldn't mind removing the full names, emails, and phone numnbers of the researchers from this post (as well as any future ones). Web crawlers are liable to find this information, and we would like to prevent receiving spam. In the future, while it is fine to post studies, please preclude information about the researchers from going up online due to our privacy concerns. Thank you for your help!
Deleted the email address's....if anybody quoted me on these, I can not delete it from their posts.

After getting banned from GSB for having multiple accounts (the 2nd account was never used, it was my brother's and it was deactivated like a year ago) recently, I switched to Yale's survey site. I won $80 in one of those lottery surveys and they usually have a lot of surveys.
If anyone is interested:

Thanks for the heads-up. I checked it out, and it seems like all the Yale surveys are drawings with low probabilities of winning:
Each of the studies has an assigned probability of winning and the prize listed on the front page of the website. The probability and the chances of winning are varied by the length of the study. The odds typically vary from 1/60 to 1/100 and the prizes vary from $25-50 in the form of an Amazon gift certificate.
Given the really low odds, I'd rather stick with the guaranteed pay Stanford surveys. (Even many of the Stanford drawing surveys have better odds than Yale.) That said, appreciate the info on another option; maybe someone else will be able to make use of it.

I wrote to the researcher yesterday ,and this is what I got!
Hello,
Thanks for participating in the “Internet Opinions Study.” We did receive your study submission. In the phase of the study in which you participated, we were offering entry into a drawing for $50 gift certificates. (We ran the drawing on 8/18 and sent out gift certificates to the 5 winners.) Later we made the study a bit longer and offered $5 gift certificates to everyone.
I hope you found the study interesting and will continue to participate in future studies.
Best,
