Is there a way to configure so that the title of the post be on the title of the email?
Is there a way to configure so that the posted information get sent with the alert?

1. Is automatic, only when you have a single thread in your deal alert. If you have more than one, it reverts to more generic format of "Forum - Keyword - Rating" in email title.

2. No, not at this time

sorry to bump this but didn't want to start a new thread.

here is my question: I want to get an alert every time a new thread is created in a certain category (e.g. Apparel). Is this possible?

I have the very same question. I did not see this covered in the FAQ. Possibly I missed it in the FAQ?

Alerts by category are currently not supported, but it's something we may implement in the future.
