I don't know if I'm the only person or not, but I prefer to shop online at places that offer free shipping. I suggest a forum be setup for people to view sites that offer or are offering Free Shipping and maybe break it down with 100% FREE, free after 25.00 etc...

I'm more likely to purchase if FREE shipping is offered... because I think FREE shipping is slick...

i agree i'd rather shop at a place that has free shipping too, but that's only when i'm buying something anyway, where there is no deal going on. i don't care about paying a couple bucks shipping if the price is still 15 bucks or cheaper at any B&M. the good posters say the final price after shipping so you can compare if its a deal or not.

its common knowledge on a lot of stores what has free shipping and what doesn;t, if you had a question about a specific place you can always ask.

IMO, limiting it to free shipping would miss out on too many deals to make it worthwhile.

Some retailers offer free shipping on some items but not on others, how would you deal with those sites? And if a retailer offers free shipping for a certain time period and that offer expires, how would you deal with that?

IMHO, administration of that "free shipping only" forum would be impractical.

Many items are still cheaper when you add back in the shipping than they are if you buy them from shipping-included sites.
