I'm sure it's been asked before, but doing a search didn't bring anything up. Maybe searching for "stickies are unstickying" is a little too specific. :lol:

Anyway, I'm constantly saving stickies on several boards, and I've found that they periodically unsticky themselves, regardless of whether or not I visit them every day, or even reply every day. They just mysteriously free themselves from my list like some kind of sticky escapees.

I want to keep them trapped and held hostage... so what gives? Why won't they stay prisoner on my pages? Is there some setting I'm missing?

I think I saw where Mr.Slickdeals said there is a limit of 25 personal stickies. If you create more, than older ones start falling off.

Yep, 25 personal stickies. You can try using the subscribed feature in combination with the sticky feature. :)

Also, if a thread has been merged (and its thread id changed), it will no longer be personal stickied.

one more.. some of the master threads get over 10k posts and are restarted. sometimes the OP is copied into the new thread, and it can be hard to tell the new v old threads.
