I've tried 5x to post a thread this morning to no avail. My IE page loads, but the resulting page is blank and no new thread posts on the forum. I was able to post to the Lounge (http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?p=716381#post716381) and reply to a thread on HMFaD. Does anyone have a suggestion?
Jennifer- hoping this works! LOL...
is this the thread you are asking about? (http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=57544)

That was the reply I was reffing to, but not the thread I was trying to post to that forum. Aparently, I can post replies to existing threads, but I cannot start a new thread. LOL...I can start threads in other (Lounge & here) forums, too. ????
Any suggestions? I would like to start a new thread in HMFaD.

hm.
when you are in "help me find a deal" forum, scroll down and check the posting rules (bottom left hand corner) - does it indicate that you cannot start new threads?
also, have you tried using a different browser?

No, it says I can start new threads. I have not tried a new browser, but...
it's working now LOL...I guess 8 really is my lucky number! :)
Must have been a glitch, but at least it was short lived. :)
Thanks so much!

try mozilla firefox (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/index.html) on for size. you might never go back to IE.

Unless, of course, you need to visit any of the 1/3 of the websites out there that firefox won't load.

There's a couple where the layout/style sheets that don't display right in ff... figure its more due to bad web developers than anything.
