Oh sorry I thought I remembered mens products only being shown on the shelf ad.

However, I still don't think it would work with going by the $1.50 maybe interfering with the $5 instant. Because yesterday I bought the Suave Men's Professional and I got both the $1.50 AND the $5.00 instant. So $6.50 came off my order on the Mens. I also did purchase some Suave kids and ONLY the $1.50 came off. So you can give it a try but I don't think you will get the $5 instant.

Me too. But, I think the bonus deals may workout nicely with Christmas coming. I cashed out my measly amount a few weeks ago on that inexpensive single serve coffee maker that hit the front page. The pick-up was nice and easy. They also have a layaway program, which is nice. And now I'm babbling, but those were some of my reasons for wanting an orderly wiki.

I, too, will use the coupon based on the wording, which I agree is very clear. You have your reasons for reading it your way, and I have my reasons, some that I have mentioned as well. I do agree with you on one point, though, people are sometimes going to hear/read what they want to, and. will keep on till they get the answer they want.

And, the bottom line is that these discussions are usually fruitless, and there are usually reasons for both, we just all have to do what we feel is right.

This is so true. The last time I was there I had a rather simple transaction with a few coupons. I handed the cashier the coupons and she proceeded to ring me out without using the coupons that were in her hand. I was distracted and didn't notice until it dawned on me the total was too high. Unfortunately I had already swiped my card. Oy.

I had a problem with that last week too. I didn't even realize it until I left (had kids with me - lol) The computer should not have even taken off a percentage of the coupon because it was only for health/beauty/groceries and the item I returned was stationery. :comfused:

I live in CT and even with a receipt after 90 days you lose your sales tax. Don't know if that is what happened but it may be something to look into.

It is posted on a sign in both aisles by the regular Glade products and the regular Ziploc containers and baggies. The sign doesn't mention anything about holiday products, so I would think that ALL the Glade/Ziploc qualify.

I saw signage at one store last night with a unilever promo ~ Buy $15 dollars worth of products and get $5 off instantly. The sign had dove on it and axe and had promo dates of 10/2 - 10/28 (of 2011, I doubled checked cause with this store I would not be suprised to see a sign from last year :rolleyes:). You can try to return it without the receipt, use your shopyourway card, if they scan it they can pull up the item price without seeing the coupon in the receipt ...

I havent tried it ... but I guess KMart wont cheat us for a coupon which the managers only do ... So the advanced kmart shoppers can tell ....

Just confirming that the Bonus Size Dove are NOT prompting for the instant $5 savings. Have tried this 4x now and the only time it would print was when there were no bonus sizes.

Once again...spent 5 minutes doing my shopping, 10 minutes checking out and 30 minutes at customer service trying to get a refund on the missed coupons and missing $5 savings. I have to replan my shopping to include the time at customer service.


I have found and also been told by Kmart customer service that any Bonus size products never work for offers of OYNO coupons. They usually ring up on sale but do not trigger a coupon.

that's the one downfall of Kmart- need to know what Qs can be combined with what, because certain Qs cannot be combined. And if you do a return, the $5/50 takes a percent off every item- so returns are not the full amt.

I have not been able to get to the store (30 miles away) to test it, but it looks like its a no-go on the instant savings for Tresemme.

If I see any signage at my store I'm probably going to try it tomorrow and see if they'll honor it.

Anyone remember the Cars 2 Kleenex promo a few months back? I know a lot of us got Cottonelle at Kmart for it..anyways I submitted for the $10 visa gift cards, and just finally received them today. I ran into the same problem tonight. Thankfully the one manager who knows what she is doing was working and got it to work for me. As long as you have $10 in other merchandise you can still use it. I mixed the Olay with the Tampax and was only a couple bucks short so I added a few candy bars on and it went through no problem. At least I will know for next time.

Wouldn't roll for me either on a transaction with only Olay items :( I also got the "Reward not met" screen. Will definately have to try it with Swiffer or Tampax thrown in instead of just Olay. The Gain 40 load box was $7.59 regular price, which comes out to $3.59 each using the scenario above. Maybe you guys can do better if you have smaller boxes available at your location.

Just make sure you don't do too many transactions back to back or your account will be frozen and reviewed. I had to call to have mine "unfrozen" and was told that I should probably only make two more that same day or the same thing would happen again.

Sorry Mr.V I'm in Wisconsin. The store that had 75% off clearance toy rack was because all the boxes were sun damaged from leaving the rack outside during the summer. I picked up some Kung-Zhu stuff that was originally $19.99 for $2.50. :D

No, it is not a money maker. You can't count the same catalina both when you earn it and when you redeem it.

In this transaction, you counted the $5 earned against your total to make it a moneymaker, and when you redeem it next time, you count that same $5 against that total as well.

You're exactly right. Look at it as if you were starting out with nothing. The first transaction would cost $9.35 OOP. You would then have a $5 CRT to roll, but would also pay the $4.35 OOP on each transaction and at the end have a final $5 CRT, effectively making each transaction cost $4.35. Definitely not a MM or even free, but not a bad deal for 3 Biore's if you like them.

You need only one store coupon but unlike Wags if limit is 2 on the coupon, it will take discount only on 2 items even if you have more in your transaction.

Decided to go ahead and do the Almay deal today since I found Get Up and Grow mascara bonus packs with a free eye liner. The bonus packs have a bright pink stripe down the right side of the package. $5.98 for 2 mascara ($8.29 each) and 2 eyeliners ($7.49 each) plus 3,000 bonus points.

FYI the bonus packs did not work for the $1 store coupon, but my cashier pushed it through since it is valid on that specific mascara.

Be on the lookout for a special Kao brands display. My store had it set up in the aisle by the laundry detergent. Bonus points usually show up right away. They will show up on bottom of receipt below where your regular points show. It will say bonus points, then list the points. If they don't, I would call the 800 number on your card. Customer service at your store MIGHT be able to help, but they are pretty clueless here :confused:

C/S at my store is a joke. They couldn't even figure out what to do when the cat machine ran out of paper while printing my turkey voucher. Took 3 people 15 minutes to finally just decide to give me a $5 GC. LOL

Second transaction - bought 2 Hydro 5 refills, and 7 shave gels along with other stuff for a total of $27.98 before Qs, but my 5000 bonus points for Energizer didn't show up.

I don't really have an answer as to why you didn't get the points...but I'm pretty sure it had nothing to do with coupons, I did the Schick deal & paid $9 after coupons and still got my 5k points...I would try calling them...

ok, I took one for the team today :lol:to try to figure out why some people are getting the 5,000 bonus points and some people are not getting them. I tried the Schick deal 2 different ways: one transaction with only q's that would NOT double and once with q's that would double. I was over $25 before q's in both transactions and did NOT get the 5,000 bonus points in EITHER transaction:mad: since i didn't get the points even when i used no doubling q's, I don't think the doubling is stopping the bonus points from printing. Check the doubles thread, lots of decent deals, especially if you have the schick hydro $.75/1 gel...you can get 13, use 13 qs, pay $6.50, and get 5,000 points back, just add some more items to get to $10.

Same thing happened to me. I did this deal 2x with mostly shave gels, and neither one of them worked. I called customer service, and wasted about 20 minutes arguing with the csr. She kept saying what you mentioned about the coupons affecting it. Finally after all of the arguing with her and her support person, I got transferred to her supervisor's voice mail. Waiting for a call back... :rolleyes:

She just called me back. She's saying that it's got to be $25 BEFORE all other discounts. She wouldn't specify if that meant for MQ's or their rewards that print at the register. (I really don't think she had a clue.) But I did use the $10 P&G coupons at both stores I went to. So I'm thinking you all are right about that being the real issue.

Apparently the bonus points offers are different from the instant printable coupon offers, in that they have to be the specified amount before other discounts...Meaning that you can't roll the printables with those deals. (If that makes any sense.)

I posted a week or two ago about not getting the points for the Schick/Energizer deal myself. Used coupons, but before them it was $30 or so. I emailed CS and the first response was that I didn't get any Energizer products. Of course I emailed them back with a copy of the deal from their own site showing that Schick products were part of the brand. Next email was that they could not see the exacts of the deal on my receipt online, which of course I could, and that what they could see did not make it up to $25. I copied and pasted the receipt and emailed them back.

Well last Thursday I had a message on my machine from Anne at Shop Your Way rewards apologizing for having to send all the emails back and forth. She said she could see that it was over $25 before coupons and that they should have told me in the first email that it can take up to 30 days. She said she had it marked in her calender that they should be there by 10/29 and that it they weren't that she had a note to herself to check it and manually give me them if they aren't there.

So I had a great experience with the CS at the call center, but maybe she was a little higher up possibly since I had talked to the online CS first. If you can get her, you may get your points. She obviously understands the deal better than others.

Edit:I just used some of the high value coupon on the stuff and a few doubled.75 ones. No cats on my order and the $5 Kmart coupon I used still made it over $25 before coupons. Just for reference in case cats do make a difference.

I did 3 Biore @ $5 each and a bag of chips. Used 3 $2 Biore coupons and $10 P&G and received the $5 cat for the Biore promotion. Going to shy away from the points deals when using the $10 P&G.

It worked for me today. I had one last $10 P&G CRT and decided to burn it on the Glade deal. I think since the $5 OYNO is a Catalina promotion, the Kmart CRT doesn't affect it.

However, it took 3 tries for the cashier to get anything right. The first time, without asking, she applied my SYW points before I handed her the CRT. Of course, now since my total was under $10 - it wouldn't take it. Then she argued with me that the CRT was for grocery, health & beauty. Asked her to void it, of course this required a mgr.

First one is voided...then she rings up everything including Qs w/o scanning my card first. Ugh! This requires ANOTHER total void. This is after she told me they did double because the "F" next to the Mentos gum I added to reach $10 meant it doubled. I had to explain to her that it meant non-taxable because it's a food item, and actually pulled out my reciept from yesterday and show her where it would say MultiCoupon and her register did not. Then she called the CS desk and complained that I wanted them to double, even though it was just .55. :rolleyes: So we bring over a different manager for a second void.

Third time is a charm - right? Nope - she didn't grab my Q's out of the drawer before she started scanning. I tried to stop her, but she wouldn't listen. Finally she got the drawer to open and then everything scanned through right, my total OOP was .33 and I was finally out the door, narrowly escaping the daggers from the line that had built up behind me at the ONE open register. :eek:

I got the email but I can't figure out what requirements are to get the coupon either. If it is buy $35 get $10 OYNO then that should be specified but this is Kmart. If I didn't know anything about catalinas etc, I would assume that if I bought anything at Kmart today & gave them my saver card, that I should get the coupon at the end of my receipt. ;)

My Kmart has the Halloween stuff at 75% off. We paid big bucks to buy costumes this year, so we swore when things went on sale after the holiday, we would stock up on costume stuff.

The cashier and manager were so grumpy they were giving away $3.49 (for the juice) for free (kept on saying that) so i didnt want to ask them abt this as I dont know where to look for the deal.

They gasped at end of the receipt I thought it was the coupon but it was just 10% off toys coupon ...

Ooh mine is worse, once in their monthly ad book it was printed "pick and save" on the top and then items on sale ... the manager told this is not ours, it might work at "pick 'n' save" -- our local grocery chain !!! I dont know why they are called managers if they have no idea of what is going on ..

At the pharmacy tonight, they had a ton of Celebrate every day 2012 Monthly purse size Calendars out for anyone to take. Printed on pretty thick paper stock. They have Kmart Q's in the back - American Greetings cards - BOGO free. 1 is good 11/1/11-12/31/11, but the 11 are good 1/1/12-12/31/12. DND

"reward not allowed" the cashier said I couldn't use both the $10 AND $5 Qs. maybe I should have done them in the opposite order? I wonder if that would have made a difference.

That stinks :( I used a $10 P&G CRT and a Glade catalina together (no other coupons) and it worked great. Paid tax only and got another $5 Glade catalina. AND the glade cat is definately rolling. I have rolled them 4 times this week and got another $5 catalina every time.

I had several of the P&G $10 CRT cpns and I did a scaled down version of this deal---

6 Ziploc containers---I got the pretty red rectangular containers

Total was $15

Used 3 of the $1.50/2 coupons with 1 of the $10 CRT cpns

My total was .53 and I used "points" to pay !!

I received the $5 Glade/Ziploc catalina back on each order.

Also, I ask if there were going to be getting in turkeys for the deal they have going---

I was finally able to get out today and buy this. No, they did not let me get the eggs. The 15% off coupon scanned item not found and they manually gave me 15% off the air purifier. The shelves were bare for the All detergent, none in the back, and they were going to write me a RC but the register wouldn't produce one which according to another mgr. means there is some in the back. So another trip to the backroom and voila I got 3 and had $1/1 Q's.

My shopper's card has been suspended she told me, but she still gave me the $2.99 coupon price on the All. Why would they suspend the card - I bought 4 Sierra Mist and 2 Gillette products last double q event. Sheesh...

The only time I have had my card suspended is when I do too many transactions in one day.

Those card suspensions seem random. I did 10-15 transactions in one day and wasn't suspended. Yesterday I got suspended after my 3rd order. lol

I didn't end up being able to do that transaction. The $5 Ziploc cat and the $10 CRT wouldn't work together. So I did exactly what you posted and then took my $5 cats and bought Post.

I haven't been able to use 2 Kmart store crts in the same transaction. Only if one of them is a manufacturers coupon like the Post Cereal one is. BUT then I have to make sure I have an item to attach to the manufacturer cat to in order to use both.

However, I was able to use a $5/50 and either a $10 P&G store crt or a $5 Ziploc store crt in the same transaction. That has worked for me.

I just wish you could use multiples together like you can at CVS. :( I'm sure it's why some Cvs shoppers wouldn't shop at Kmart.)

Just an fyi that the suspend # IS random - it's to help prevent gaming the system. You can still earn points while your card is suspended, you just can't redeem points. To unsuspend, just call the 800#. It's a pain, but it's an unfortunate necessity.
