Yeah, pretty easy to platinum. You need a buddy though. Always did find guys online though that were also looking for help. As for the game itself, pretty underwhelming, so I sold it already. The online play was actually pretty fun, but unless you're a HUGE fan, you won't be playing this too long. Lots of potential and great material, but its not even as good as the movie games on the PS2 (which were actually really good).

Note sure how PSN really works as I have no friends on it!

Edit: update. It apparently counts emoticons against image restrictions in the wiki, so be careful to put spaces in between the :P of "GT5: P", and the :O of "Hot Shots Golf: Out Of Bounds," and other similar ":" acronyms..

Still, take the images out, anyway, IMO.

I often watch the kill cams especially when I am learning a map since I die a ton. Then I can tell where people are likely to be to get ready for them.

No worries. If he has a DSL connection, he should be good to go. I've read that you can game online with speeds of 256kbps down and 256kbps up (although I wouldn't). IMO, if you have speeds of at least 1 to 2Mbps down and 500kbps up, you should be fine.

Connections definitely vary from person to person. You'll get a guy who can game all day long on a 1 to 2Mbps down/255kbps up connection and claim to never experience lag, and then you have someone like me who has (wired) speeds up to 39Mbps down and 4Mbps up, and I still see lag from time to time.
