Ha ha. Once you get used to it you will do fine. The machine gun is my fave weapon and don't forget that once you are in range it will lock onto guys making your job much easier. Just watch out for those flame throwers in close quarters.

A good way to practice is to create a local game. You'll be the only one in the level unless you have some friends on the second, third or fourth controller, so it won't help with your aim, but at least you get a chance to get used to flying the Warhawk, driving the tank, scoping out the different maps and stuff. I still suck at this game though. :lol: Not enough time put into it.

Yeah, add me for a game, though I'm -10 GMT so might be hard to find me on the same time, especially for the fact I play late here, lol.

Haven't tried Warhark yet but for COD4, anyone you have added will be on your friends list online. Then you go to 'invite friends' before you choose a mode to play on. If accepted, you'll be in a 'party' together and whoever invited the people will get to choose what mode you play. You'll always be on the same team too :)

I just mentioned this before but we should get a SD clan! I dont know a lot about the clans yet but can it just be 2 letters? Someone that knows a little more should look into this and get a clan name not taken yet.

From what I heard any BT will work. I'm currently using a plug-in so I dont have to worry about the batteries going dead every 10 hours... since I put in that much every couple days :) I told the girl I'd do something with her tonight buuuut maybe the ole 'I'm not feeling too good' will come out tonight so I can play a little!! :lol:

For better luck doing a 'party invite' don't get in a game right away and add everyone. Wait for a bit (since they might be in the middle of a game themselves) and when they get done, they'll have a invite to play with you. That way you won't have to worry about being in a game thats full already... therefore not allowing the person to join you. Hope that helps! The only person I've seen online so far is 'windyhillsurfer' but have yet to play with you!!

And as I'm writing this, thugmuffin just came online so hopefully we can tear it up together! :)

Uh oh. Long story short, I now have two working accounts.

Cliff's Notes: I could not get the PW to take the other night and went back to my old uname from my old system.
No hacking, no compromise...blame my fat fingers.

I assumed that my account had been breeched and the password changed from under me - and since I don't give my real DOB, the password recovery tool did not work (b/c I could not recall the bogus date I keyed originally.) I even plugged in a USB keyboard to try to get the account to work but I could not get the PW to take either. I went in just now and input the same PW using the controller and it worked fine - not sure what happened, it seems to be my user error keying the passwords.

Sorry for the confusion Para/Floyd/Iamdrunk. Feel free to delete the "_14" account. I'm just going to stick with the "_" one that's posted here.

Well it was good playing with you earlier for a bit! We need to get a big group of SDers on tonight.

Yeah I think we need to try to get a party going first, and then go into the game together. I start to feel bad because I send out invites, there are like 8/12 in a room, and then it fills up. I can already see you clicking "ACCEPT" and then gettin' booted.

I know it is frusterating. The thing is I'm not motivated to invite someone to a PARTy and then wait around. Plus you don't know what others are playing. i am almost always donig Hardcore Deathmatch.

I've been playing Mercenary Deathmatch, makes it a lot easier without clans grouping up. I also love team tactical with the smaller groups, but there are too many game modes rotated in there that just suck combined with the fact that I am always getting games where it is 2 vs 3 for domination, that's just wrong.

Random teams, no partying allowed. This prevents large groups of clan members from teaming up and allows me to rack up a lot more kills. Occasionally you will still get on a team with all crap players which just throws your whole game to hell, but that happens a lot less with mercenary.

I just picked up CoD4, so I'll have to have a go with you guys once I unlock the different modes.

I bought COD4 about a month ago, and really, getting your ass handed out to you repeatedly because you can't get into servers with players the same level as you it's frustrating.

I didn't know about the max either, until I ran into it on Sunday. I did a search on PSU, and other people have hit it to. I didn't see any responses to it. They better fix it with HOME, your going to be running into alot more then 50 people then.

I think I had planned it if we watched one disc a week we'd catch up right before the season started. Well that was the plan, there were many nights that my wife would insist upon watching an entire disc the night we got it. Then she convinced me to use 2 netflix discs on Lost so we would have to wait the 3 days for the next one to get turned around. Not that I put up too much of a fight.

My buddy had the same thing happen with his wife, too. Good show, season 4 has been much better then the beginning of season 3.

Depends. Flash Player 9 doesn't seem to work with the browser. I know I tried to watch shows that CBS.com had and they wouldn't play.

The only other browser I have is the Wii which of course won't air it in HD because the output is limited.

I use this Netflix on laptop connected to TV also, I hope eventually the PS3 gets whatever pluggin Netflix needs or Netflix changes it to play through the PS3 browser.

I don't know, but I only recently discovered the "My Stickies" feature myself and that's probably been there forever. It's under "thread tools" in the upper right when you open a thread. Now I have all the threads I regularly revisit stuck to the top.

Remember to update what games you have. We've got more then the max number of friends allowed on PSN, so I'm going to delete some people that don't play CoD4 or Warhawk. Hopefully they patch to allow more then 50 friends.

Sent out invites to several that play COD4 and still at request pending. I think it times out after a while.

I don't think it does time out, because I had an outstanding one to some people for months. Then once we got over 50 people here I went and canceled the invite, and at that time it said it would be removed from the other person's invitations.

I think there are a number of people who aren't very active. Post their ID's, because I'm at the cap and want to delete a few people to free up some more CoD4 people.

I ended up selling my PS3 with games on craigslist so I am not going to be active for a bit. But I plan to "rent" a PS3 from target for the GTA release then return it a bit later and pickup the MSG4 bundle in June.

Guys how about we start a slick deals clan and organize a bit more? Have COD4 divison, MGS4 divison, GTAIV division, BF:BC divison, and any other games that have clan support.
I can make a cod4 clan and a mgs4 clan. We can hold practices, Tournies, and clan battles. This way we are more organized and we can always have people to play with.

I did the 6 disc changer mod on my ps3 and am able to select which one to play..... works like a charm.... i put the two top games i play in most and then my fav 4 movies fill up the rest of the slots....

Well i havent gottent hat good at MGO either so what ive been doing the past week or two is go to a bar then getting drunk and then lying down on the floor for 10 seconds till my camo kicks in then trying to sneak out the door without being noticed without paying my tab...its really helped a bunch......

Ha ha, I used to do that all the time. If I am number one on the team and leading by a lot and we are getting creamed I start trash talking them, ha ha. My other big pet peeve is teams who can't stop a flank, cause you to die way too much.

I deleted a shitload of people on my friends list from here who haven't been online in 45+ days. There was like 10- 15 of them :)

Added info, add me as a friend if you have some of the same games and want to play or work towards trophies! I've got around 70 PS3 games, but lately I've been focusing on trophy games (Far Cry 2 at the moment, probably Bioshock, BF, and GTAIV afterwards).

I went through my friends list and found some people that hadn't been signed in for over 100 days. I added that info next to their names in the wiki list to save people the hassle of inviting people who aren't active. Those people can always remove that from the wiki if they are around slick deals any more.

I agree,
If everyone can delete people that show greater then 90 days, that would be great! If you haven't signed into your PS3 in over 90 days, you can add yourself back when you become a regular player again.

I deleted a few people that have been inactive for 100-180 days, so if your name disappeared off the list and your still playing, feel free to add yourself back. Do a control + F to search for your name first to make sure it isn't still there, I only deleted the 4 people that someone marked inactive next to.

Also, please check your message box as you may have request to be added as a friend from some of us, I have a lot of people that I've requested but have not heard from. Happy gaming!

Anyone playing Quantum of Solace, I'm getting close to having all the single player trophies and will be looking to find some friends to get the online trophies with.

I just finished playing bioshock and will probably get back into some online games again... R2 here I come (again!)

Parafly I was thinking as a bare minimum if people aren't on the PSN ID wiki they shouldn't be in the slickdealers Home club.
