The pics are printed HUGE! I made some with my kids' pictures on them and funny sayings, and I just love to wear them. They have washed fairly well too.

I don't think you can stack the 10 off 70 and 10 off 40. When I deselected all the discounts and selected them one by one it did not take 10 off when I selected 10 off 40. I did have the 10 off 70 selected at the time. Then I did it the other way and same outcome. You can order $40 worth of stuff and get it for about $20 shipped.

How strict is Shutterfly on "professional" pictures? I want to include some school "pro" pictures (on some I think I could have done better myself). Do they stop the order and contact you or do they print the project out without the photo?

I didn't like the variety of layouts for the calendars. I like the "professional" photobooks and wanted something more subdued like that. I wound up using Photo Album 6 with their collage feature, but then had to take it into another program since the background was white and I wanted it black. Any suggestions for alternatives?

If a project is shared with you, can you still use your codes in your own account to purchase that item?

I don't have answers to everything, but I'll try. The chat thread is great but sometimes you have to weed through 10 pages to find out an answer to your question...

On the strictness of pro pictures...it depends on the person looking at it at Shutterfly. Some people have gotten an email to make changes and others have been printed. I don't know anything about alternatives to the calendars. If a project is shared, save it in your account and use your codes in your account. The project is now yours.

You can download Shutterfly studio and make your collages there and easy upload to shutterfly account as a picture and use it in your calendar.

If you made them in another program & uploaded it, make sure you are putting it on the 1st option that has captions over top of the image. It will print with out the boxes & just show your image. Are you choosing the 11x14 collage, not another size? Finally make sure you are ordering a collage, not just an 11x14 print. That's all I can think of...hope it solves your problem!

You can download Shutterfly studio and make your collages there and easy upload to shutterfly account as a picture and use it in your calendar.

I have a very speedy system with a lot of memory and was surprised how slow Shutterfly studio is.

ekaren -you probably know this- but just in case a newbie reading this thread is not aware the "search this thread" feature is great for answering questions especially if you have a good word to search on- (I would use 'professional' for you question below) then the Chat thread is pretty quick for answers- or at least it has been for me - usually when I know a topic was discussed or feel pretty sure it was- I can find answers in a minute or less- also advanced search can narrow down hits

Mine said free shipping, but when I clicked it said 25% off your purchase. I tested & it only gave free shipping. I'm guessing just free shipping.

When you put stuff in your cart - it only takes away your shipping, not 25%..

Did you also have another $10 discount that you were stacking it with? I (along with others) have had problems with this... I tried to stack it with the Holiday DM 2 ($10 off $70) and it would only take $10 off once. Someone on the other SF board had a long chat yesterday with SF CS and basically they said you can only do one $10 discount code.

I think their system was messed up and they are just making excuses. I'm glad I unselected it so I could try using it again later (although I don't think I'll be spending $40 before the 10th).

I wanted to give an update. I placed my order and the 10.00 credit did not show up. Just called SF and they asked me to email what the offer said....I save the account credit on my computer just in case!
