This sauce is great. Country Bob's was invented in my hometown and I love it.
I knew country bob personally and he was a great guy. I'm in texas now and it's hard to find in any stores. I typically make my parents mail me a bottle. Last I heard, they were beginning to expand and began selling at walmart but I haven't seen it down here yet. It's great with pulled pork or as a basting for chicken.

I got 2 coupons before, but am unable to find it here.

I can't find it here either. Had two coupons I carried around for over a year since they were no expiration date. Finally threw them away about six months ago, as I couldn't find anybody who wanted them. *sigh* I wanted so badly to try the stuff, but nobody here sells it. We just a have a regular Walmart, not a superstore.

Where is this sold?

This BBQ sauce is made in my hometown of Centralia, Illinois. Everyone around here loves it. You can order it online but I have only seen it sold in stores in the surrounding areas back home and I guess if places special order it its sold there. The all purpose sauce is true to its name you can use it for anything IMO. just thought i would share that.

Her name was Rachael, but after our first cookout she was forever after called Sweet Baby Ray. Well, not forever after...sad to say, her sell-by date expired, but I guarantee you Sweet Baby Ray's sauce will never leave my side. :yummy:

SBR is the best. Hands down. Try the Sweet and Spicy or Chipotle versions for extra fun.

Country Bob, OTOH, does a damn fine job with his all-purpose sauce.

I second that. I have used Country Bob's for years and we love it. Used to be sold at Walmart but they stopped carrying it for no good reason. Now you can find at Kroger. Inexpensive even if you do not have a coupon. Great recipes' on their site with fun trivia too. Will have to try out that seasoning salt normalicy. Hmmm always looking for a good one.

Nobody said it was a sauce sample. A coupon for a free bottle is better than a sample IMO. The last time I requested this I received a card(I don't remember if it was a postcard or in an envelope) with 6 coupons each for 1 free full size bottles.

Meijer, Hillers, and Kroger have them if those stores are in your area.

I don't shop at walmart, and meijers didn't have them...But Krogers did. I got my card for 1 free bottle early last year. Think my bottle is about half full, maybe a bit less, but its pretty damn good. Wonder how often I can ask for coupons lol.

I have those too, they came 6 to a large post card. I've never had a problem using them at any store(Hillers, Kroger, Meijer).

This stuff is great btw, I wouldn't buy any other sauce after trying it.

This has got to hold the record for the longest freebie still in existence on the net ! I started getting free stuff online back in 1998 and got my coupons back then ! They were so grateful for me informing them that my Walmart didn't yet carry it that they sent me 12 additonal coupons !

Country Bobs is still locally owned/operated as far as I know (living 15 minutes from where it's located)- I know that even local people are taking a while to get their coupons, I think demand may be high and they are just behind. If you dont hear anything in a month or 2, try them again, they are really good about making sure their customers are taken care of.

Hmmm. Mine came in a few weeks. The hard part was finding a store that carried it. Finally found the stuff at a Super Wal-Mart. Haven't tried it yet but it smells good. :drool:
