Wow!

Well, I have been trying to post a thread in the freebie section 5 times now, & the page just stalls, then after I refresh, my post isn't there. Any suggestions?

LOL

I've failed posting a new thread in the Freebie section too. I can reply to posts there, but not make a new one.

how many posts til I'm not moderated?? it takes forever to show up!

and why are people with 7 posts at "LEVEL 1", and with 11 posts I'm simply "REGISTERED"?

we can't say for sure it'll defeat the purpose. its also newly implemented, so if people signed up before , they can have 1 post and not be moderated.

the way it works is any post made by new users goes to a queue. then mr sd has to go through and make sure its fine. depending on when its made and when he's on the boards looking through them, it can take anywhere from a few minutes to many hours.

I was wondering the same thing. While I agree that it's a good idea to do this for awhile w/ new members to prevent spammers and such, it's also pretty frustrating when you try to add something useful to a thread and by the time it posts the info is no longer useful.
