So I called NY & CO CS and they said you tell them it's 10% off for the week of your BD and all you have to do is show your DL to them! Also CS said they were having this problem in a lot of the stores because the managers were not passing this info on to new hires! Just wanted to share this with you in case you get someone ringing you up that doesn't know what they are doing!

They should automatically send us one (coupon) the week of our BD for being a rewards club member, but they don't! They ask for our BD when we sign up, but when I asked csr (on the phone) she told me they don't send anything. It would make things easier for us so we get the discount for the week of our bd instead of going into the store and having the cashier look at us like we have two heads! :)

that is crazy! :crazy: do you have a NYC CC? if you put it on that i would call the card, not CS...or whatever card you put it on, you can try calling that... i've never had a problem with them price adjusting or refunding...actually, i always thought they were pretty good about things like that... sorry to hear about your incident...i hope it get's fixed soon!!!

I had the same issue - it took about 6+ phone calls, lots of emails, and even more mistakes with the credit.

About a week ago, they finally adjusted my order AGAIN and credited back my account additional money. I still don't think it is right but it is close enough so I am calling it a day!

I agree with the poster who said to contact your CC. After my last call to Ny&Co, I vowed to call my CC and do a charge back until it was worked out. Luckily, I didn't have to resort to that .
But all in all, I probably wasted more money in time, than I actually got refunded. LoL

I don't think you are doing anything wrong! I think something is wrong with their site! I tried the code and it didn't work for me either and when I hit update bag it puts in a different code 5863, but no savings show up! I called CS and told the rep what was happening and she gave me a new code for $25 off $50 7653 and that one doesn't work either! I'm going to call CS again and tell them that the new code they gave me isn't working!

I just got off the phone with CS again and now I have a working code! She gave me Code 7897 $25 off $50 Valid through 3/31/08. She said to hold onto the other Code (4550) and try it in the future because they may not have put it in their system yet!

i think it's bc your order was on SALE not on clearance. clearance items end in $.99, and usually can't be used with coupons... so that's why it's a YMMV... good order though, it looks like you did well!! :woot:

If you ordered anything on clearance lately check the site's prices again. Two things I ordered the other day are priced lower today and I just called and got a credit for the difference.

A couple of months ago my friend was at the Galleria in Houston. She mentioned to the sales associate that she didn't have her coupon with her. She was told that all she needed was the code. So, she called me and I read her a list of codes.

Will NY&Company be strict about the coupon fine prints if you order online? I tried one of the $20 off $40 on an item ending in 0.99 and it applied just fine...
The reason I ask is I went into the store today and tried to use the $25 off $50 coupon posted above, and was denied because my items were ending in $0.99. I should also note, I have never had this problem before and I've had a couple of shopping trips using the $30 off $75 I usually get in my email while getting $x.99 items so I didn't even bother to look at the fine print this time and went directly to shop. Is this a new policy, or do some stores enforce it, while others don't (I shopped at a different store than I usually do)?

At the 2 stores I shop at they never let you use the coupons on anything ending in .99. A cashier was pissed when I told her that I was able to use a 25 off 50 for clerance items on their site.

We have a lot of expireds in the Wiki. I'm going to delete those that expired more than 30 days ago. I really don't see a need for keeping any expireds for a long period. Initially, the idea was that a current coupon could be accidentally deleted, so the expired section was created to easily spot such a deletion. We have a lot of expireds in the Wiki. I'm going to delete those that expired more than 30 days ago. I really don't see a need for keeping any expireds for a long period. Initially, the idea was that a current coupon could be accidentally deleted, so the expired section was created to easily spot such a deletion. No one here has reported that their store accepts expireds, but if they do, you can go to the revisions of the Wiki to find the deleted codes there.

It's short for wikipost... you can edit/share/correct anything that's in it. It's always the second post in any thread that created one. That's usually where all the coupon codes are. (It's also what the blue "W" symbol means). Hope this helps.

Does anyone know how good NY&C is about accepting returns? I bought a cotton sun dress there and wore it once. When I washed it, the side seam ripped all the way down the top! It's 100% cotton and machine washable, so this should not have happend. I still have my reciept.

They should take it back specially since it's a manufacturing defect. I did it twice with some pants that were made from horrible material.

I had trouble with an exchange through their website. I purchased two pair of capris when they had the second pair for $10, and I also used a $25/$50 purchase code. They were the wrong size so I marked what I wanted on the exchange form and mailed the item back. Instead of sending me the item, they credited my account the $5 something that I paid for the item after discounts and sent me a free shipping code. I paid more to ship them back than they even credited my account with....I emailed them about it and they said "The way that we process returns and exchanges is a credit is issued to your original method of payment for your merchandise. Please place a new order using promotional code for free standard shipping and handling."

Such a disappointment, as I can't get the pants for the same price now even with the free shipping code...Why have a spot on the order form to fill out exchange information if they won't do it?

That's why anytime I order from the web site if I have to return something I take it to the store to exchange it. I remember a long time ago their receipts used to say no sale is ever final. Now I think they only give 30 days and if you don't have your reciept they give you the current sale price!

same thing happened with my sundress.

i also bought a second dress and the zipper kept getting jammed
i thought i needed a bigger size... switched it from a 2 to a 6...
wore the dress and when i tried to take it off.. AGAIN the zipper was jammed..struggled with it till i gave up and forced my way out of it.... which then caused the zipper to pop :shake:
