its multi-use..no issues multiple people scanning the same one...unlike the Staples coupons.

No, typically not. However, if you have a JCP Furniture Outlet Store in your area, you can often get items for 90% off retail.

Caveat emptor on all JCP furniture though ... we have had a nightmare or two from buying there.

works for all items on a single transaction. just make sure to take plenty or copies with you incase you shop in a few diff depts or multiple floors :)

I think the issue is that they send a higher res version of the barcode, then have the browser scale it down. Most if not all browsers have crappy quality (but fast) scaling routines.

they put the barcode in by hand...it always comes down to laziness and knowledge. i've had my coupons rejected and simply asked them if they can just put it in by hand, if they don't i try another register. there have been times where the coupon wouldn't work when manually entered and i think it's because i had used the same coupon at the same time before, and maybe it's one time use per store or something -- idk. but usually all coupons have a way to be manually entered.

no, not always. they have various $ off coupons. sometimes you have to use any visa or mastercards, other times a JCP card, and many times it doesn't even matter. you just have to note the fine print on the coupon for details like that. as for receiving them, just get on their mailing list and you'll get tons of flyers and the coupons.

i'm pretty sure their coupons don't work on furniture. i haven't tried myself, but i've seen people discuss it on other threads. i guess it's one of the fine print restrictions or just a general policy because they can't afford to discount their furniture.

i believe the coupons don't work on some specials like 2 for $X items, but I always purchase clearance items and use this coupon, and in NJ it's not a problem. if you are thinking of specific items that i'm not addressing, you can probably open the PDF and read the fine print to see if your items are on there?

I hope it's ok to post this info here but if you live near the new Canton Michigan JCPenney they are sending out coupons in the mail for the grand opening good for $10 off a $10 or more purchase. Good April 6-8 with some exclusions on the back of the coupon. There is no way to request it, it looks like it comes based on where you live but watch your mail.

i believe it means you can't use the coupon on such deals as "buy 2 (insert item name here) and get the 3rd free/50%off/etc ....so if the sale is to buy 2 suits and get the 3rd suit for half off - no go! hope that helps!

Says on Sunday, April 20th use their associate discount in the friends & family special event, yada yada yada ... 20% almost everything, 10% off of some other stuff, and 15% off yet other stuff - good online, too! I HATE Penneys coupons. If you purchase two items (for example, one costing $50.01 and one costing $10) and use the coupon - but then return the item costing $10 you do not get ten dollars back. They apply a percentage of that ten dollar coupon to EACH item (even though you still had a fifty dollar purchase remaining on the receipt) and return to you only the amount calculated after that percentage is subtracted.

true, but they are good for items you are certain you will be keeping. i'm definitely a buy-return person so they are a pain for me, but during holidays its a great store to buy from esp w these coupons!

its only fair..cannot expect their systems to behave different based on totals....

scenario -

#1 $50 - allow $10 off and distribute the $10 across the number of items.
#2 $60 - allow $10 off and distribute the $10 across the number of items. In case of return, assess $$ amount of return and adjust down according to the value of what has been returned....too difficult to handle in my book...
