Ask for them at the CS desk, that is where they were at my stores.

Has anyone found a way to use the $2 Tide or Gain POWDER coupons from awhile back? I am wanting some cheap Tide preferably, but not sure where to buy it. I checked Walmart and was shocked at how much the powder Tide goes for..geesh.
Makes sense! I just got my FREE mailer with coupons - got the same Qs I got last time.. :scratchh: Free dial, dole, Oscar Mayer lunch meat and Lays or Ruffles.
I sort of suck at HEB deals. I kept trying to get my groove there, but it hasn't happened..
Yikes.. That sucks.. Never heard of "Whole Paycheck" but it doesn't seem like some place I would shop anyway.. :lol2:
lol Holly, that is the nickname of Whole Foods because if you have ever been there, a weeks worth of groceries will literally take up your whole paycheck! Scary prices, I have nightmares in that store:D

Yes, these are the MDA books everyone has been chatting about in the safeway thread, IF you cannot find a display, ask at the service desk!

The stuff at kroger is actually more $$$ for the same, I'm sure it's b/c they aren't bought in bulk like whole foods since I'm probably the only one buying it:D I'll be in SL today, sounds like a good reason to head to WP and stock up:celery:

I did ask one of them. The CS had no clue. She told me they didn't get them. I will keep trying.
Did anyone found them in Randalls at Westheimer/Wilcrest or Town and country shopping center? TIA.

Check the Safeway thread for a really good Gain deal that will be coming up in about a week when the Gain catalina starts - combined with a B3S$3 you'll be able to get one box of powdered detergent and 2 bottles of dish soap for 1.47. :D

No coupon books found in Town and Country Shopping Center. Got some free Fresh Express Salad kits by using the $2 off coupon found in store.
Could anyone please tell me which Randalls has the coupon books in Houston? TIA!

Oh ha.. I've never heard that before! That's funny.. I was thinking it was some hole in the wall store.. TFF... :lol2:

Thanks! That deal sounds good enough for me!! especially since we don't get dish soap free anymore at Kroger... the Dial 35¢ in the recent insert made me want to cry.. :crying:
Oh that reminds me.. Dial is $1.25 at Randalls right now, so with that coupon tripled - it would only be 20¢ .. forgot to check the end date..

I checked one store - the Midtown store - last night and I did see the smaller boxes of the powder Gain for 5.99 after the B3S3, also saw the dish soap for .99 after the B3S3. Haven't checked my other regular stores yet.

I made a special trip to Randalls, rather than Wags...
It works! There were only two Gain dish soaps left and 1 box of powder Gain at the store I went to, but it worked nicely. I did find the Gain powder for $5.99 but only one left..but that's the deal I wanted to do anyway, so it worked out fine.. Liquid Gain laundry soap is only $4.99 so you can use a $1 Gain detergent and get it for the same price as the powder using the $2, if you prefer the liquid... Not a MM but still quite cheap!
:woot::woot::woot::woot::woot:
Bug - I went to Highland Knolls and Mason - just so you know that there isn't any of the dish soap left (unless they restock it this afternoon but don't they usually do that at night??) .... and I took the last powder Gain..

It's really hard to extreme coupon here in Houston. Our grocery store policies make it hard, if not impossible. Kroger does not double or triple anymore. Randall's only doubles/triples one of each type of coupon. HEB makes their yellow coupons Manufacturer coupons so you can't combine them with newspaper coupons. You have to wait for the right deal to come along then jump on it. Even then, you'll find yourself limited to the stock on hand. Local stores never seem to have 99 bottles of mustard on the shelves (or 99 of anything else for that matter).
HTH!

I would start with CVS or Walgreens.
SD is pretty fast paced and I would think not for new couponers, not being mean, just honest. You have to get all the basics down to understand what everyone is saying on here.

very well said Daranaco. This is so true, a few years ago it was awesome but since the EC show came out all stores are becoming less coupon friendly.

Just a heads up - in Sunday's (9/11) paper, I received 3 inserts - Smart Source, Red Plum and the General Mills (with the Da-middle cupcakes ad on the front cover).
For some strange reason, I received a different Smart Source in Saturday's paper, which I almost missed seeing because the Sunday paper is the only one go thru section by section.
Did this happen for anyone else? I know two of my neighbors who save coupons for me also found the Smart Source in Saturday's paper after I asked them to look for it.

Their coupon policy on Wags' site says they do accept internet coupons.
Did you talk to the store manager? If so, then I would find out the district manager's phone number and call him/her. If you don't get anywhere with him/her, then I would call corporate. They're going against their online policy.
You can print it out and reference it word-for-word when you speak to the SM/DM or corporate.
Internet/Print at Home Coupons
Walgreens accepts valid internet/print at home coupons.
Here's the link to the Walgreens coupon policy (http://slickdeals.net/?&u2=http://www.walgreens.com/topic/help/generalhelp/coupon_policy_main.jsp?_requestid=37856) [walgreens.com (http://slickdeals.net/?&u2=http://www.walgreens.com/topic/help/generalhelp/coupon_policy_main.jsp?_requestid=37856)]..
