I think the thumbs up/thumbs down thing has to go. Just because the deal isn't for you means you have to give it a thumbs down. I think it's a deterent from someone at least looking at it.

I think it generally works. It's just that a few users have been abusing their privileges lately. Remove their votes and it's back to normal.
