Mine was instant, but I use gmail which is quick, as opposed to yahoo, which I've noticed is slower in getting confirmation e-mails for some reason.

Same here. I got a 1700 pt survey by email and it was pretty short, about 7 or 8 questions only. It wasn't available on the website.

I was just thinking the very same thing as I have not received the Barnes & Noble GC yet and it has been awhile now. Most other survey companies are pretty fast at shipping rewards like this.

Emailed them 2 weeks ago about never getting referal points from 2 accounts, never heard back. And this "plenty more survey" business, have yet to see it yet. Losing alot of confidence in this website, I haven't had 1 survey that remotely is about any new products..

You're right, I shouldn't be so impatient. I just checked my handy dandy survey notebook, and I redeemed for the GC on April 8th. so it's just shy of a month. If their shipping policy is 2-6 weeks, then they are certainly well within their TOS. I believe I will take that survey afterall ;) Repped you for your help!!

Yep, just got done over there and got the same error when it came to the kids' age. Obviously a glitch. Hopefully they will fix it soon:mad:

This is a sister site of WRinsiders.

The children and teens I know who have participated in WRinsiders have all done very well.

SayNation! IS a legitimate survey site.

imho, being that SayNation is a new site AND being familiar with WRinsiders,
I have seen no reason to believe that SayNation will not be a good survey site.

But, as always, each person must decide for themselves.

I always try to give things the benefit of the doubt so I plan to email them to find out if there was some sort of delay in mailing out the GC since their survey site is fairly new. I will post when I hear something back from them.

I also ordered a $10 Barnes and Noble giftcard on 3/10 and still haven't received it yet (though status says shipped). I contacted support weeks ago and never got a reply. I just sent them another email.

One thing's for sure - never doing another survey for them again, unless my item gets here.

That login problem has occured for me since day 1 on half the email survey invites they send me. I never have received and email back either about it. Did have the 1250 point survey though.. 18,100 points. 4k to go till I get to wait months for an amazon gift card...

Holding onto faith for this site still though!

I sent yet another email to their contact support to inquire about where my $10 Barnes & Noble GC is as the status shows it shipped however it was ordered on 3/9/08. Unless they use the Pony Express, it should have in fact arrive by now. I will not complete anymore surveys with them until they tell me where the GC is. I do not want to waste my valuable time. I will post if I hear back from them.

The worse part is that they dont even respond to emails.
There is nothing worse then a survey company that does not respond to any emails.

Not to sure if WRinsiders site has anything to do with SayNation or a "sister site" of Wrinsiders. They are owned by two different companies. Just becouse a survey site has the same template as another one and uses the same survey engine means absoluty nothing.
GMI is a survey engine/ application an template (different then the engine SayNation or WRinsiders uses) that is used by many various other companies too (such as Global Test Market)-none of them are "related" to each other at all- each having different owners.

Not saying you guys wont get your cards( you probably will in time) but dont be to sure that WRinsiders is a "sister" site to this company. They might be two totally different companies/ different ownership (which i think they are) just using the same survey engine an template.

Java- you keep mentioning its a "sister" site. Any confirmation of this or is it just an assumption?

They still are so very similar, in style as well as survey type, response time, etc...that I think there may be a connection, yet.

I apologize for my overconfidence, but they are so similar in every single way, that I felt sure that they are "related.".....:ermm:

so they both are clients of a larger marketing co.Java- Quantafire is a company that sells survey software for market research. As i suspected- WRin an SayNation both use this specific survey and template software. You can find this info in the "about us" section of Quantas web site. They are not a marketing company- they sell their survey software to various survey/marketing companies.
WRin an SayNation, i think, are two different companies-just using the same survey software that they bought from Quantafire. They also list "samplingx" as another company that uses the Quantafire survey software.

I just wanted to clarify becouse WRinsiders is a VERY legit company that runs smoothly, answers emails, sends out cartds in timely manner and dont want anyone to think that they have anything to do with this other company,SayNation, that so far we know very little about.

I posted the name, email and fax number for the person & company who registered the SayNation site a few posts back.

AND there may be a number for the company that registered the site ON the company's site; url in another post in that bunch.

I shouldve come here first. I just did the 30 minute cell phone survey and at the end got do not qualify. They even wanted me to enter my entire cell phone number. This site is a total scam.

Well, I ordered the gift card on 3/26 and it says it is stilll "pending" for shipping. Well, I contacted the support staff, but based on what I have read here, I do not expect to hear much of anything from them.

this is an update. This was an email I received just an hour after i sent them an email:

Hi Super fabulous person,

Thank you for your email and for alerting us to this issue. Our policy is to reward our members well and in a timely fashion and we sincerely apologize for any delay in your receipt of the reward you've chosen.

There are a number of reasons why this might have happened such as shipping errors, vendor delays or others but our concern now is delivering you your gift card as quickly as possible.

I have submitted a priority ticket for you with our fulfillment team and you should receive your reward very soon. If you have not gotten your gift card within the next two weeks please send another email with the following Ticket number as the first item in the body of your support request:

Well. :( I am now beyond the "2-6 weeks" terms of service shipping agreement for my Barnes and Noble gift card, the shipping status for the card has never progressed beyond "pending", and the support staff has never responded to my emails. I am afraid it is time to say adios to Say Nation. I hate to say that, as I had very high hopes for them, and perhaps they will still come through. Can ANYONE confirm recieving a GC from this company? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? :lol:

I think because at the begining, there were lots of high hopes for the site. We all believed they were a "sister site" of WR Insider, which is a well known and respected site, hence, lots of thumbs up, perhaps hundreds of thumbs up! And who knows, Say Nation may still come through. It may still be too soon to tell. Me personally, I am about done with them. In any event, as time goes on, more and more people may get fed up, and begin giving more and more thumbs down, and it may begin to cancel out the many, many thumbs up. Anyways, that's my theory! :lol:

As a new survey company , who we SD'd BIG TIME, ~overwhelmed~

I believe it is too early to tell if this will be a good survey company in the long run...

I DO wish they were mailing out the GCs in a timely manner already!!!!
I DO wish they were more responsive to emails;
the reports of emails never being answered bothers me.
I have not had reason to be that unhappy with them yet. I have not placed an order, as I don't care for B&N, so am waiting to get enough points for amazon. I received all my referral points, and the being disqualified during surveys...well, that is part of being involved in taking surveys with almost all the survey companies. There were some problems with their email invites that then didn't work right/allow me to sign in....but I figure they are still working out the glitches.

I guess I have patience.

I'm not ready to say they have failed...they are still new...and we SD'd them.
...and it isn't like I sent them a bunch of cash and I'll be out...I am investing a little time in hopes that they get it all worked out... soon!


...it very well could be that this will not be one of the good survey companies...
personally, I just can't say that yet. :dontknow:

If we have indeed given them the ol '"SD effect", then they need to change their TOS to reflect that. It is obviously NOT taking them 2-6 weeks to mail out GC's, as they state. And you know, that's cool, I'm patient too, I can wait forever, IF their TOS tells me I need to wait a year, so be it, I will wait a year! But if a company says, "You will have your item in 2 to 6 weeks" I expect to have my item in that time frame. If not, then I email them. And then when I email and have no response....well..........it's a bit upsetting.

I sent my 2nd email today concerning the B&N giftcard and asked for a reply by tomorrow or I would be going to the BBB as someone suggested. I also spent a great deal of time trying to track them down (found Java's post #323--finally!) and decided to send an email to JMcFadden@Quantafire.com. In that email I was very polite and asked if he could possibly shed some light on this situation. That was 4 hrs ago, no response yet. Will, of course,update here immediately. I am annoyed and I also don't understand why Saynation is so similiar to Wrinsiders. Seems slimy to me. If we all stick together maybe we can get this resolved and move on.

That hasn't happened to me, but I do get a lot of surveys that take me to others. And heads up all, my email to JMcFaddn@Quantofire.com bounced back, but for some odd reason it took a day instead of immediately. What's up with that? and of course, no respone from SayNation. ugh!!!!!!!!

No, nothing yet. I just checked my account, and even though I was told my account was being given priority, my gift card status is still sitting at "pending", the same way it has been all along. However, I am still remaining hopeful, as I was also told in the email that it could take up to 8 weeks (although their TOS does not say that) so I am waiting it out :) I sure hope they respond to you! :hug:

Guys,

I had ordered a $10 B&N card to check if I do get it before continuing with any surveys and wonder of wonders, I got it today ( I placed the order on 05/21). So, thats less than two weeks.
And here's the kicker....the gift card comes via email and it comes from service [at] barnesandnoble [dot] com even though SayNation claims it will be a physical card.

It was from a guy called John McFadden and the email contains a GC number and a pin and a message that says 'Thank you for being a valuable member of SayNation.com Come back soon for more prizes! ~SayNation Team'.

So, check your spam to see if this has been filtered through.

Edit: The status at SayNation still says Pending even though I have received the GC now. Will check later and update if it does change status within a day or two.

Edit2: From the site homepage:
We have been made aware that our vendor who was physically mailing Barns and Noble gifts cards has not been handling our list correctly. Some of you will get your cards in your mail box in the coming days, the rest will receive them via the email address you use for the site. For those that received a Shipping confirmation from Saynation for the Barnes and Noble GC, please check if you have another email from service [at] barnesandnoble [dot] com.

I got the GC via email from the B&N address above and still got a shipping confirmation later. So, its possible that the B&N email was flagged as spam. Just a heads up so that you don't miss out on your GC.

I don't know if this was the case with other GC orders so if there are others who ordered Amazon GCs, please pipe in!

Finally got the $10 Barnes and Noble giftcard I ordered in March - I thought it would never come and had pretty much given up on Saynation.

I got the card through snailmail and went to B&N this evening. I got a cute 18-month planner for less than $10 (shock!), and at the register, the cashier and I were joking that the $1.38 left on my card couldn't buy anything in the store, not even the $4 Godiva candy bards next to the register :lol: .

from the FAQs:

While you're typing in your information, you'll see a box where you can enter your friend's Referral Code. (You did get one, didn't you?) When your registration goes through, you'll find that both you and your friend have received bonus points!

As to how long it takes for the registration to go through and you see those points,
I am not sure, as I did my only referrals when they were very new and even slower. :ermm:

No new survey information for me, but it looks like they've added a few new things to the homepage after you login:

You know what is awesome? I redeemed for a GC the other day, with my points, and the next day I had an e-mail with the code. Awesome. I was surprised by how fast I got the prize, especially since people had so many problems at first. o.O

I'm going to have to do more surveys for them.

Some new information, for those that are still keeping up with SN :)

In hopes of getting you MORE points and less "Sorry your don't qualify!" messages, we have created a new survey matching system. We have creating an area on the site called "Quick Profile" that you fill out and we will use that to better match you with the survey offered.

Click here (link given on the homepage) to fill our your Quick Profile!

Be sure to sign in often once your fill our your Quick Profile to see if any new surveys pop up on the homepage!

Hooray to that! It just asks a few simple things and once you've completed it a "processing" message comes up on the bottom of the homepage (where new surveys would be) saying it may take a few days to process the information. :)

I signed up with SayNation a couple months ago, and I am truly more frustrated with their site than even Greenfield. I racked up 4 or 5 surveys when I signed up, just like all newbies do. Since then, the pickin's have been very slim and those surveys I DO get I get a DNQ or "survey full". I did finally get through an entire survey on Wednesday night, but when I hit "submit" I got an error screen.

The thing that irks me the most about their site is that there does not seem to be any kind of "tracking" page where you can see all the surveys you've done . I try to keep up by saving emails of surveys I complete, but I think you should be able to see each survey listed individually on the site in your account. If I'm wrong, and someone can tell me where to find this, then PLEASE!!!

ARGH!!!!! Wonder how long it will take for them to respond to my email contact?

I logged in a few days ago and see my name on the left side as having mega points. It looks like a while ago they rewarded some folks with 25K in points for referring people? I was quite shocked and am saving up for a $50 card. Just curious if anyone else had gotten bonus points as well.

Also, is it just me or is there no way to view your survey taking history? I like to look back at those. Also, I took a survey and didn't get credit; it took me to a Myview and logged me right in. Did that survey only work for non-myviewers?

I've had other people sign up under me and I still haven't gotten the first point. They don't track it anywhere.
