I got that too. I think that was just for the screening of the movie. I also think that they are letting more than 100 into the soundtrack campaign, but only sending out 100 CD's. I hope that I was in the first 100, but I guess there's really no way to be sure!! Are you going to the premiere?

I know some of us that are hosting the blog giveaway where wondering how they where doing the prizes, if we picked one to giveaway and one to keep and if they mail the prize to us then we mail it out. So I emailed and ask and this was the response.

If you got the email for the Alanis directive you click on any link to "sign up" fill it out, checking which ever directives you want to participate in...you can participate in as few or many as you like. Then in a few days, you will receive an email with more instructions such as how to set up the blog contest if you were chosen, or what you need to do for the soundtrack. In the meantime, you can post the widget wherever you want.

As you do these things, you will have to fill out a viral report (I think there was a link to the Alanis one included in the email)...you add your urls to it and then when the directive ends, they will notify you if you won.

What ideas does everyone have for their listening party?

My party package came!
I posted a picture on flickr under the "Alanis Party Favor" topic.

I listened to one song, "Citizen of the Planet" and then my son decided he was taking it for a "mobile listening party"...and it's gone...riding around in my town with a group of recent graduates!

I just got it too. I can't wait to get some time and listen to the new cd:)

The first few were not as big a deal... a thanks for the Allison Moorer project and I am getting another CD, The Alanis mixes are late, ect.. .but I just found out that I won on the Missy Higgins project and am getting the CD and $25! I saved my Alanis Viral Report to my favorites (I am using the one from the initial Alanis Directive link)
It is NOT saving my information like the SATC or Missy Higgins one did.
I have to input my personal information each time, and then there is a box that I put the link in, followed by a comma for the next link. (None of my links are visible either after I sign in.)
Is anyone else having this problem....or am I just a complete computer whacko and have no clue what I'm doing. (The latter is dh thought!)

it took me a while before my first offer. I think Sex and the City wast he first one I have done. I know they sent one about celine dion . . . but . . . ummmmm . . . no. not for me. :lol: They send out invites much like buzz or house party and you sign up.

I have gotten 2 campaigns. The sex and the city soundtrack and also the alannis morrisette party. I am pretty proud of winning. I worked pretty hard at making sure I had all of my reviews in. It took some thinking on my part on creative places to put them. :lol:

Some how I've completely missed the alannis morrisette party. Maybe they will have something like it in the future and I won't be spaced out and miss it....

Participants will get approx 25-50 posters and will need to:

I'm on there too but I don't know what I won. I think the top three for the CD reviews and the widget postings get concert tickets. I think the others get the amazon gift card and the Alanis collection CD and DVD. Hope everyone on here gets the concert tickets. I am going to see Idina tomorrow thanks to One2one. Wasn't really that familiar with her prior to this campaign, but she really has talent.

I just looked at the tour list and the closest concert is over 2 hours away... If it was San Antonio that would be OK but it is Houston which is too far.... wonder if they would be willing to negotiate something with me..... disappointed really if the tickets are what I got..... will see what happens......

I'm glad I am not the only one kicking myself. The closest concert to me is Las Vegas or Denver...both are about six hours from me. :eek: I'm still excited and enjoyed the directive.

Went last night to go and see the Idina Menzel performance here in Fort Lauderdale thanks to One2One and she was great, I had so much fun, just a wonderful show all the way around great singer and great personality what a great combination!

Did anyone sign up for the postering project?i signed up but i did not know you had to go into the shops and put up the posters!!!! i thought it was o.k to put it up on trees and outside of establishments :rolleyes:

A lot has been going on with Missy in the past few weeks – she’s on tour with Indigo girls, two of her songs have been featured on FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance”, she performed on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” AND her album is currently Top 20 on Itunes!

That said, it’s prime time to turn your readers onto Missy! You make up the contest and pick the winner based on your own rules (An example could be answering a trivia question about Missy, her native Australia or whatever you come up with creatively.) We’d like the contest to run for at least one week between now and August 31, 2008.

Contest guidelines include writing a short post about her and her album on your blog and posting the CD cover art image (attached). We’ve provided additional links below to various other Missy info if you’d like to include. I had the option of getting a CD/Tote and one to give away on my blog... or just giving two sets away. After seeing how excited everyone is about getting their CD, I'm wondering if I should have kept one for myself!
