From Mod:

problem is if some volume deal poster starts ignoring people then we'll get people upset they're missing out on deals effectively making the site useless for them. a double force ignore isn't a first step, and its not something we do lightly.

Yeah, if Selma and few of the volume deal posters put almost all active SD users on ignore list, it can pretty much kill SD if we have this feature.

If I've been added to someone's ignore list, I would hate to waste my time replying to their thread since they're never gonna see it. I'm thinking of cases in the tech support forum, where an answer might be a little more detailed, not just some smartass comment in the lounge :)

Are you asking to have people on ignore in only specific areas, vs. site-wide? If so, I don't think it can be done. I'd have to check with the Admins, but I'm confident the answer is no.

nah, he just doesn't want to spend on any time on people who have him ignored. i don't see it as big as a problem, there aren't stats on it, but i wouldn't believe its that often.

Since I'd bet that I have more people on my ignore list than there are people that have ignored me, it's actually a suggestion to benefit other folks here :harhar:
so to make people replying to you in TS, we need to make a drastic change in the ignore feature? :harhar:

Realistically I doubt only a few people have you on ignore at most... If anything, you'll lose a couple minutes of your life replying to someone who has you on ignore. You should just... get over it. No one else really seems to care and arjunsr said there's not going to be some sort of automatic ignore. :dontknow:
