This has been happening for a while now and everytime i click on a link from here(other places too sometimes) it wont take me there like the link: http://www.slickdeals.net/?pno=3912&lno=1&afsrc=1

takes me to this "The page cannot be displayed" page. i am using IE 6.0

Try doing this, go to tools, internet options then click on delete files, then ok, delete cookies, click ok, click on the tab that says advanced, then click on the button at the bottom right that says restore defaults, then apply, then ok. It will take you back to what is mostly default settings in IE and hopefully that will help, if not you might want to check and make sure you have all the latest updates for IE 6, I think they have 2 service packs for it out now. Hope that helps!
