For those of you who have points with Zoom Panel from taking surveys the Zoom Panel Rewards site (http://www.zoompanel.com/loginrequired.asp) has been updated with some new rewards. The bad news is that it is still a bunch of junk. They added lots of DVDs Cds, and books. For each point catagory, it shows pages 1-10 but you need to keep clicking "next" or "last" to see them all. Some point catagories have 40 pages of stuff. After page 10 it is the book, CDs and DVDs. Maybe you will find something to use your points on.

If you click on a point catagory and then click "last" you will see the pages for that point catagory. However, I found that if I click "last" on the first page I am brought to after logging in, it takes me to page 1128.

Same here. I have over 18,000 points and have emailed them a couple times over the past couple of years asking thme to give paypal or Amazon gift cards. I'd be happy with Walmart gift cards.

I found that if you click on "Entertainment" It will bring up a "music", "books" and "video" folders. Clicking on one of those will bring up other folders arranged by topic. This may help people locate things of interest without having to wade through 1128 pages of stuff.

Still crappy at around 20 cents per survey.

If you save your points until Christmas time there might be some better items. I redeemed in my points for some household items last year before the season hit, and when I checked around Christmas time they had a bunch of better items up as specials.

If it wasn't for the test products, I really wouldn't care about zoom panel. I mean the rewards suck, so there is no point for doing their surveys, besides the hope that it will get better.

I got my daughter some headphones and they are really nice- she can't even hear me scream her name. next time i am getting her a stephen King book. She loves the movie it and they have the book.

I don't think they are crappy, let alone I've done well on this site. Every site works well for some and not others.

Even though their surveys may not be worth the time, I like (ocasionally) getting products to test from them. So I just do the Zoompanel surveys if I have nothing better to do.

zoompanel isn't that bad. I have gotten a shaper image turbo groomer for my b/f for 3,500 points worth about $30 and a brookstone I need massager for 7,500 points which is worth about $69. Not bad considering that the surveys don't take very long to do and it's free..I haven't gotten any product tests from them though... ?????

I have received several product tests from them also. And, for my reward points, I got a really nice samsonite rolling duffel bag. Well, actually, I received two of the duffels for some reason! About 2 weeks after I got the first one from UPS, I got the second one. I e-mailed customer service to make sure they weren't going to take more points out of my account, but they referred it on to someone else, and I never heard anything else.

I really like them. Just started in January and I think there rewards don't "suck." There are so many things I want.

i've been a member of zoompanel for years, and was getting at least 2 surveys a day, generally more, up until a couple weeks ago. then it stopped. saw this thread and decided to see what new prizes they had, and it seems my account can't be located. just got done sending them a message, i had 6k points saved up, was going to get the telescope at 7500.

and yea, if you compare prices of the prizes, then look at the points, your going to feel ripped off.

No, they don't. I've done 6 or 7 PT's for them and those products do usually have a special barcode or label on them.

In my experience with the rewards you order they have never had anything about zoom panel on them. They are just like what you get in a store. The mailer does have incentive logic on it as the return address but no where is this on the product itself. If i remember correctly there is usually a paper in there stating who the survey company was that you placed the order with....but i just cant really remember the exact wording on that paper. I have ordered many dvds, cds, and sunglasses and have been pleased with the quick shipping...usually 1 to 2 weeks at most.

i agree with you, i say gc or money i have about 9700 points. their prizes are worthless.

I got a few things from them since I been a member. I got a foot spa, Cordless mouse and a watch. But Now it seems like all of the rewards are lame. They need to offer more better rewards.

I just redeemed 2 pair of nice looking CZ earrings. I googled the name brand and see those and other things like the horseshoe CZ necklace are all sold at Nordstrom, so figured they can't be too bad of quality. Supposedly from what I read even thee jewelers have a hard time telling the difference between these CZ and real diamonds.

I just cashed out last week for a DVD player surround sound system in the 7.500 pts category. They've totally stopped sending me any surverys since the begining of the year. Somethings up, so I figured I better cash out ASAP.

I just finished an evaluation for a PT I did and was looking at new rewards they have in the cheapie 1000 level. They've got the new Suze Orman 2009 Action Plan book if anyone's interested to cash out for it

I agree with both Julie and Stupified about the rewards being offered currently, I certainly don't think they're junk. I cashed out recently for a Phantom of The Opera dvd and a cool Gregorian chant cd! But I'm a bit unusual like that.. ;)

This happened to me, but it seemed more like just a glitch..and once I re-activated my acct with my password - all was okay. By the way...why save so many pts? Good rule is to cash out asap...you never know when a survey co will go belly up. But with Zoom, they offer little for little pts, but I normally cash out for a gift around 2-3k pts.

usually if they ask for your info no to long, they won't send an email it will just show up at your door. most of the time anyways. good luck.

I still haven't gotten ANY Zoom surveys in months and months, in spite of emailing CS. I'm going to go ahead and cancel my account and try to re-join and see if I get any.

i just cashed in over 10000 points and got a very nice proctor silex taoaster and programmable coffee maker,i forgot i had that many points!

They do have re-chargeable batteries. SO many people say that they need to invest in them but never seem to put out hte initial money to do so, so here's an easy way to get them. I"ve seen both AA and AAA batteries on the site.

I just got an email from UPS that Market Tools has sent two 8lb packages that are to arrive tomorrow, so I checked SD to figure what the heck "Market Tools" is.:lol: Apparently that's Zoom, I guess? I have no idea what it is because I don't even remember getting in on a PT lately. If anyone knows, PM me, because I would love to know what to expect.

Mine just came. It's a huge box with styrofoam packing, bubble wrap, ice packs and a 16oz bottle of creamer. I kinda giggled when I saw the size of the bottle compared to the package it came in.

Got mine today also - 8lbs worth of product and lots of ice packs! :drool:

Hopefully for those that were notified of the 16 lb packages will have that second shipment put back in refrigeration till they're due to be sent to us towards the end of the month. It sounds like they got a little confusion going on in the shipping dept.

Got mine too. I am glad I was here, though, because it only had two ice packs and both were soft and not so cold. It seems cold enough, but if it had sat there for a few hours I don't know.

I think that it might be a good idea to check these panels perodically just to be sure that our profiles are correct

I have been emailing for over a month and I get the same canned response "here is your login info." But I still can't log in.

I think the 3 digit code they are talking about is on the flap, printed with all the other stuff, like exp. date. I don't have mine in front of me, but, I think it started w/ an H. BUT, I am not for sure on this..I looked all over for that dang code too, lol.

But I did get a UPS tracking number for the box of Fiber One bars they are sending. So, They can fix my ability to sign in and I will take the follow up survey, or they can continue to pretend that there isn't a problem and I'll send them a 'thank you' email for the free box of treats.

Just click the 'I don't know' option and on the next screen it'll ask you which day the bars arrived. Then let you finish the rest of the survey.



I have a different question! Anyone ever get a cash incentive through Zoom? I just did a 2 part PT for them, and the last screen on both follow-up said something about a $5 incentive. It went by too fast to be able to read the whole thing, but I could gets parts of it by using the back button...and it was definately there. Never seen $ through them before and I don't know if I should count on it or not????
