View Full Version : I dont like the rebate section.
ok freebies is cool. most free crap is exactly that. crap. but a rebate can be a hot deal but myself or a new user may miss it because its kinda hidden among the tons of crap rebates.

I don't think the rebate section is really (at this time) for posting rebates, it's more a general discussion on peoples problems (and hopefully triumphs) over rebates.
the "hotdeals" and obviously "slickdeals" sections do include rebate offers.
I guess I'm not exactly sure what you mean by tons of crap rebates?
Rebates are generally/always directly associated with the item of which they are used with and the place of purchase, thus such an item would be under "hotdeals" or "slickdeals" with a link to said rebate within the thread.
PS: Some Freebies rock--Kraft's trial pack was well worth it.

Thats right, I agree with Snipe......though suggestions are appreciated...let us know what you would like done....how can we improve?? I kinda see what you are talking about though....rebates should go into the rebate section...but if they all go in there, it will just become a database for rebate links...I think it is better that they stay within the thread..so that way you can see the comments of the other users.....

I agree with lowpro. I think this is the place for us to post information about rebates, who got what, etc. By the way, my friend has got the TDK DVD+R rebate a couple of days ago.
I will keep you posted if any of us gets any other rebates.
I am waiting for WD2000JB rebate at the moment, and also for the DI-614+ rebate. We'll see how those go.

Stick to the program, lets not reinvent the wheel...
