Played it a long time ago on the pc... it was decent. Pretty dark game but the graphics are going to be pretty dated.

If you want a good older "dark" game, check out "Clive Barker's Undying". I thought it was at least 10 times better then Alice.

u know this website won the award for best student produced business a couple of years ago at UMD and they got a big grant for this website and now are fully run by those students that did this for a project

I can personally vouch for this website. I was able to play No More Heroes last month for the cost to ship it basically. The beautiful thing about this website is that once you accrue enough points, you can essentially "rent" games for a couple of bucks. However, be warned, it can take a long time for matches to be made.

I am able to ship a game with case for like 3 dollars... Considering when someone ships you a game it evens out. I always check the actual prices of games used before I request one from the site. Some games are less than five dollars at gamestop..

After about 5 successful trades, you're given the points once the match is made so you don't have to wait for feedback to claim your points

I just signed up last night. I read the FAQs and it said that if they don't leave feedback within 21 days, you will automatically get positive feedback and you get your points.

So almost every game in my request list just went up 50 more points. Are these mainly based off of supply and demand.. A game that started as 100 is now up to 200 and almost not worth that much to me.

When I joined, there were 3200 active trades going. Now, there are almost 5000. That's a hell of a lot of folks that joined last week.


On another note, it took me 4 trades and I hit 1000 points. That's about $50 for Sudeki, DDR (game only), Armed & Dangerous (all 3 original xbox) and The Godfather (360). Shipping is only averaging $2 now (smaller packaging), so all this is workin pretty well so far.

Now I gotta figure out what to get...

Take the line number with a grain of salt. I got "Long Wait" for COD4 for PS3 and the match was made less than a week later. It depends on if the people in front of you have the points/trade credits to complete the transaction. Most of the time they don't.

Don't get discouraged by the high numbers. It means X people are ahead of you in the que. But if they don't have the points/trade credits for the game, then they're skipped.

Just an update for some of you who are discouraged about trading on here. I had 83 turns to go for paper mario on game cube for my kids, then 1 hour later it says it has shipped. Not sure if I understand this system, I doubt 83 copies of this game have traded in an hour, I'm thinking that I was probably the first person with both the points and trade credits in my account, the other 82 may have needed to buy trade credits to complete the transaction.

On another note, I had COD2 for PC, which is an older game, listed and it said 78 turns to go before my turn to trade would be up, about 2 days later I get a request for the game. So don't be discouraged I guess is what I am trying to say, I do have some games that I've been waiting to trade for a month like Bioshock, but others pop up quickly. I'm a game collector, trying to collect all the PS2, GC, PS3, WII, DS, PSP games I can so I have many in my request list at all times which makes this site great. I'm fairly new to Goozex, but I am enjoying it!

Another note, always play the game for about 30 mins or so before leaving feedback otherwise you can get a surprise sometimes. If you have a disc cleaner/scratch remover, you'll be set. I've gotten one bad copy so far, but didn't realize it until after I left feedback, luckily i was able to clean the disc and the game worked. GL!

I've been told that if that happens to the person 3 times in a row, that one game will go on hold in their inventory. So it would stop the annoyingness

ummm...they don't get the points if you say the trade happened, IIRC. Hasn't happened to me.

I joined a week or so ago I asked for Resident Evil 0 on Gamecube for my Wii.

the site said like 30 turns to go a few days later I got a message telling me some guy was sending it. The game arrived perfectly no problems.

I have since mailed out PGR 3 to some user now I have 1 free trade and another 100 points.

i have also traded a few, credits are cheap too

dont get me wrong -- I love goozex. But their points boggle my mind. Somehow, both Zack and Wiki and History Channel: Battle for the Pacific are worth 500 points. As are Power Pros and Minicopter: Adventure flight. Most appaling is that Chicken Shoot is 550. And Rayman 1 is 350 points, the same amount as a few games that received below 4 ratings on IGN. Wii economics make no sense.

a lot of their 100 pointers are pretty good yea i agree, gotten starcraft, good classic game for 100 ponts. can't go wrong there

me too -- you can get VC games supposedly. I wouldn't trust it. I'll bet that it's just people trying to scam you out of points. unless they gift you the game.

oh i LOVE Tekken Tag...i can play that game for hours and hours....at my previous job we had an arcade machine with tekken tag and we certainly made sure the machine was used to its fullest
