Holy Shiznit! C'mon ya'll, hurry up & get off the screener for this PT! SD effect is cluster farking this one up big time! :shake:
Wow, that took awhile! Finally got through & also qualified. With all the recent PT's from here & other well known sites all that's missing now is some OJ & a cow for some fresh milk, then we'll have a complete breakfast, lol.
What other sites? Just curious. I only do SS & Pinecone. Nothing from Pinecone for some time.

"help us out" Make sure if you see this one, do and complain about the decreasing incentives/money payout. I'm not sure how many of you noticed, but there are a lot of $2 surveys and $1 surveys, a few months ago there were next to none $1 surveys, and just a few $2. Most were for $3 - $5.

After I installed IE8 (god only knows why) I had the worse time getting into invoke solutions. I had finally uninstalled version 8 and reinstalled 7. After reinstalling IE7, Invoke Solutions was back to normal. Apparently IE8 is not fully compatible with Invoke Solutions.
Please be sure to bring that to their attention because I apparently was NOT the only one having these issues recently.

I had the same issue but I just hit that "compatability" arrow thing at the address bar (to the right) and it "made it compatable" whatever that means.... then it worked. I have only had one invoke though (using I.E. 8) so I haven't tried it again.

hey everyone, i have a question about monetary rewards
i've been using SS for a few months now and there's something annoying that i just decided to ask about. so if you click an email link to a survey and it takes you there, after entering some information (zip code, age) it sometimes says :
"Thank you, we have all the responses we need for this survey today.
Now, we would like to ask you a few questions about another topic."
if this happens and a reward was originally offered in the e-mail (for example $2), do i still get the reward if i complete the survey on the next topic?
thanks

well i am saying that it redirects me to a survey on a different topic (hosted on the same site) and would rather know before taking the survey if i will be getting a reward (as opposed to taking a survey of indefinite length and having to wait til the end to find out)

Hi! In the last couple of months, you participated in a survey around tobacco products, and as part of that survey expressed your interest in being recontacted for additional research.
This is not an attempt to sell or market anything to you. On the contrary, you are being contacted because of your participation through SurveySpot, and we are only interested in your honest opinions and will be compensating you for your time! The research project involves participation in a series of interactive, online live discussions with a group of other consumers like you. These unique online sessions will be held real-time on the Internet and can be accessed from your home PC or any other location that is convenient to you. The first of these Live interactive sessions will take place on July 23, 2009 at 8pm EDT. The discussions will last about an hour and qualified participants who complete the entire online session will receive $25.00 in appreciation for your time.
During the interactive online survey, you will be asked to interact with both a moderator (discussion leader) and other participants. This will be an engaging, lively session and we are sure you will find it enjoyable! Those who are not able to attend the session live will still have an opportunity to log in at their convenience within 1 week of the Live session to complete a similar discussion and earn an incentive, as well.
This will be the first of four 60 minute sessions we will be conducting over the next four months. Those of you who qualify and participate will become part of a special consumer community for the duration of the study – weighing in once a month and heavily influencing the direction of potential tobacco products. Better yet -- each time you qualify and participate, a higher incentive will be rewarded for each of the three additional sessions – allowing you the opportunity to earn over $150 total if you complete all four -- $150 for four hours of your time! Even those who do not qualify for all four sessions will be compensated well for their participation.
We are inviting only a select group of people to join this research community. To see if you qualify, we ask that you answer a few short questions by clicking on the link below (or copy the address into your browser).
Those who qualify and are selected to participate will receive access instructions via email to the online session.
Your opinion makes a difference. Thank you for taking part. Questions? Please reference survey number 765037

Yep - I'm waiting on some unpaids as well. It's unfortunate that SS does not have a more convenient method (or any method) for the panelists to keep track of their history on site. Unless you keep meticulous records, there's bound to be some earnings lost in works. IMO SS could save some serious people hours by designing such a system and not burn up time researching/responding to all the requests. Just thinking out loud.......:whistlin:

I always have issues at the end of the "interactive" Invoke sessions. The "click here to continue" button almost never works and when it does... and returns me to SS, it always says they had a problem recording my participation. Supplying them with any of the survey numbers, the links and the date or even clicking the online help link from Invoke doesn't seem to do any good because I have yet to be paid for any of the $25, $20 or $15 sessions I have taken part in. Part of the problem is the fact that SS does not let you stay logged in for any length of time.

the survey numbers do not corresponde with the payment #/s when i asked her about she couldn't answer me why.
I didn't realize till some time back (thru this thread) that the numbers which appear on the rewards page usually beginning with a 4xxxxx (6 digits) correspond with the actual survey number on the invite. That other number (which starts with a 4xxxxx) is in the survey link on your invite. And sometimes there are no numbers associated with a reward and the name of the survey is all you can go by except for the dollar amount. A real challenge when it comes time to "claim rewards"

After finishing a survey the other day and doing the instant win stuff they had a SS evaluation questionnaire/survey that came up, at the end I suggested they expand their unclaimed rewards or payment history section to include all the surveys you attempt instead of making people keep track of emails to reference the survey numbers which ultimately serves no purpose. They haven't been very helpful in the past so I doubt they will make any quick changes.
I was also wondering if they had switched to Paypal yet, I got several emails stating they were but nothing mentioned an actual date.

Yeh, after I realized that when they pay you they use the 4xxxxx number, I started to keep track of that number as well. And, you are right, it is in the link to start the survey so keep track of it and it will be easier to know what you have been paid for. At first, I didn't bother to keep track, figured it would come eventually. Now, I keep it all in a spreadsheet and mark off payments. I usually go about 2 weeks past when I expected something to email or call about it.

I took the following survey and got the response quoted at the bottom, if my answers helped the project complete I should at least get a $1. I've yet to qualify for any paying survey that they've sent, qualified for the few non paying ones I've done hoping it would improve my rep with them....
At least with Pine Cone when I'm doing a PITA survey I know I'll get $3 at the end....

I get the message sometimes, I usually completed about 70-90% of the survey and then just randomly kick me out. I email the customer service, and depending on how long you have been in the survey, they will reward you with the incentive or give another sweeps entry.
When emailing them tell them the problem and the survey details (at least the survey number) and all should be good.

What was the survey # of that PT?
I am unsure of the # because it came up after finishing a TV program survey (I really wish SS kept track for us) and I always forget to copy the start info but I believe it said 5 minute consumer survey. It requested my shipping info at the end and then gave this info...
"Thank you for taking the time to complete this questionnaire. Your opinions are extremely valuable to us. We would like to invite you to participate in the second phase of this study in which you may be asked to prepare a product.
If you are selected to participate you will receive the test product, via UPS, on or about Wednesday, August 12, 2009.
It is very important that you, yourself try the product. Other household members are also welcome to sample the product, but it is most important that you, yourself, try enough of the product to be able to form an opinion about it. In addition, you, yourself, would need to complete the second phase online questionnaire after trying the test product. The second questionnaire would come to you via e-mail similar to this questionnaire.
After you try the product and complete the survey, you will receive a check in the mail for $5.00."

Looks like this study was sponsored by some class-action attorney to prove that D**E does not have 1/4 cleansing cream, but has continuously claimed that it does. Looks like they are trying to get stats on people who associate 1/4 cleansing cream with D**E

To hell with PayPal - I'd be satisfied to see my survey history first and foremost before that gets underway. :( Unless I'm missing something........
Honestly, PayPal would be nice but would be much more pleasant to see what surveys I have actually completed and waiting on payment.

I agree. Its funny how every other survey site has this where they show you which surveys you have completed even if your account hasnt been credited yet. Paypal would be cool to have but getting credited for all the surveys we complete(with a record) would be even better.

That would be nice, but with most not tracking their surveys, SS can make more money by not paying out on all surveys. Greenfield has the best tracking for surveys. I contacted them about this idea a long time ago (almost a year ago), and the replied that they were working on some site updates.

Did they say they were going to do that? I do like the fact that if you go into payment history and click on the payment id you can see what sruveys have been credited for that payment :) easy way for me to keep track of which ones have credited over a long period of time.

I am tired of seeing survey invite one behind the other that last for 25 minutes + for a sweeps chance.3 years with them and have won nothing with them.If they don't pay out or have a pt,i now refuse to do them at all...Too many people doing the free one's now..Just a waste of time for me.

Just received mine too, I was excited because I don't remember it being for that much but I also don't remember it being for so late in the day.

In the e-mail notices we get for surveys they mention the BBB, and it made me wonder if filing a BBB complaint against SS would get people their money faster.

I've never actually had them say up front it would be for a pt and most of the pt tests I have gotten from them came from the site, not their emails. Weird but nice.
